Furthermore, the Blessed One fully revealed his intention, saying, "Because I am equal to all Buddhas, I am also that Buddha." He spoke with the power of the Dharma-nature of perfect enlightenment, saying, "From the moment of manifest enlightenment until complete nirvana, I have not taught the Dharma." Similarly, in the Seven Hundred Verse Prajnaparamita, it says, "The Tathagata without substance, and the Suchness without substance." There, it refers to the essence of self-luminous nature, which is without substance because it is suddenly free from the appearance of duality. Self-nature is the abode of the five dharmas, which is the Dharmadhatu. Self-nature's complete nirvana is peaceful from the beginning. Unborn and unceasing refers to the moment when there is no self in phenomena and individuals, and the imputation of relatedness to actions such as arising, abiding, and ceasing, as well as to agents, etc., is impossible as both different and not different. In the absence of self in phenomena, there is also no arising of the appearance of grasper and grasped, just like dreams and illusions. Since there is no discriminating thought that distinguishes the appearance of self and other objects, there is also no discrimination of otherness in non-duality. In the inexpressible momentary continuum, the mind does not abide as the object to be known by its own nature, nor as the knower, let alone letters and sounds. Awakened and arisen by the habit of compassion, in the samadhi with the appearance of the pure world, the omniscient ones abide and teach the Dharma, which has been spoken many times. Like the discriminating thought of seeing various illusions, one falls into views of superimposition and denial. To discriminate differently in other states is to superimpose "it exists" and to deny "it does not exist." Just as the Noble Mother Prajnaparamita and the Ratnakuta Sutra, etc., analyze the two extremes, this is the diligence of the Middle Way. Just as here, everything is neither permanent, nor impermanent, nor made, nor unmade. Everything is neither substantial, nor insubstantial. Everything is neither conditioned, nor unconditioned. Everything

Everything is not cause and effect, not existence and non-existence, nor both or neither, and so on. This was said to refute the Brahmanical Lokayata, but because they did not comprehend that their own mind is merely an appearance, like silkworms binding themselves, those heretics who cling to external appearances fall into duality. The mind is like an illusion, merely an appearance, but they falsely attribute non-existence to external objects. Like children who discriminate about things as they appear, it does not actually exist. For example, if those with great wisdom see various illusions in different ways, children will discriminate between different things, but the noble ones will not. "Not" refers to permanence and impermanence, self and non-self, grasping and the grasped, the agent and the action, the producer and the produced, cause and effect, conditioned and unconditioned, permanence and annihilation, existence and non-existence, both, and so on. These are all false discriminations made by ordinary people about dualistic consciousness. The noble ones do not discriminate about the ultimate truth, which is inexpressible, inconceivable, and without appearance. Because there, there is no dualistic consciousness that appears as different from self and other, there is no discrimination between permanence and impermanence, conditioned and unconditioned, agent and action, cause and effect, or the appearance of discrimination between existence and non-existence, both, and so on. However, awakened by the habit of great compassion, from the pure worldly appearance, with the samadhi of omniscience, like pointing, he proclaimed his non-dual nature. Similarly, wise people, observing with wisdom, observe the selflessness of phenomena and persons, entering in the form of impermanence, suffering, impurity, and emptiness, like dreams and lightning in the clouds. For the general proclamation, also with the view of emptiness of both, and the view of "actions are momentary," wisdom follows its distinctions. Bhikshu, you are like non-existent.
