It is said that the thoughts in one's mind, if they correspond to the nature of things, can make the meaning clearer. As the poem says, "The mind first makes various distinctions, and sometimes takes certain things as real. However, these efforts are often wrong, and language only follows these errors." The uniqueness of Buddhists lies in their view that appearances and thoughts are one. Just as someone with cataracts mistakes one moon for two, they accept this view without doubt. Therefore, in the ultimate truth, there is no difference between sound and meaning, as the Sound School says. Although sound and meaning are different in conventional terms, they are the same in ultimate terms. The true nature of sound and meaning lies in their equal existence in that one suchness. The author of Bhartika also proves this with the following verses: "Combined and without difference, the meaning of the ultimate truth is self-nature. The shape can be either singular or diverse, and this is all an illusion of consciousness." The All-Knowing One (Buddha) proclaimed the difference between sound and meaning because of the difference in appearances. So, what is the meaning of great wisdom? For example, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva goes alone to a quiet place, through the wisdom of listening, thinking, and meditating, he uses his own mind to guide himself towards the city of Nirvana. He first recognizes the strong influence of habits and personally experiences the realm of the saints. If he can obtain the merits of different bhumis and the characteristics of the nature of things, then he is truly proficient in meaning. Through the wisdom of verbal power, he can realize that all things are impermanent, selfless, impure, and empty. Any thought that exists is momentary, all is empty, and selfless. Just like applause, dreams, illusions, cataracts, dizziness, and images, etc., the five aggregates have no real dwelling place and no indestructible nature. Therefore, he can realize the differences between inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness, and all emptinesses. When carefully observed, it is found that the external five aggregates have no real dwelling place, just like houses, villages, forests, etc., all are empty. Because it has never been produced, it cannot be proven, just like rabbit horns, etc.

Because there are no things, therefore, whatever is clung to as imperishable is emptiness. When examined in this way with wisdom, one does not perceive the meaning of permanence, self, or external objects. When one goes alone to a solitary place, and even the objects of clinging and what is clung to are not seen at all, then, without thought or appearance, one truly knows and experiences the indivisible ultimate truth. This is the path of liberation that leads to the city of peace, the object of samadhi as a manifest meaning. "By one's own wisdom" means obtained by oneself, not by the power of giving, etc. Different from that, like experiencing breathing, is the knowledge of the power of necessarily entering. When the different grounds are distinguished, there are differences in worldly and transworldly samadhi, and differences in the order of the fruits of the superknowledges of the noble bodhisattvas. From higher to higher, through the differences in the accumulation of merit and wisdom arising for the benefit of oneself and others, the power of the all-knowing yogis, the completely pure non-attachment, with the magical transformations of various forms, greatly satisfies the minds of limitless beings. They act extensively for the benefit of beings as long as samsara exists. Merely entering the first ground, in order to benefit beings, through the giving of joy to all beings, one will obtain the distinction of the samadhi of great joy. The stainless ones are those who are liberated from all dualistic thoughts and who, in order not to harm beings, possess non-dualistic discipline. In the third ground, it refers to those who are patient with the profound Dharma and who are free from the conceptual thoughts of remembering the suffering of beings' evil words. Similarly, in the fourth ground, from higher to higher, the diligent ones with completely pure wisdom arrows are those with great power to liberate all beings. In the fifth ground, it refers to those whose minds are subdued to one point and who are unwavering in their minds from meditation. In the sixth ground, it refers to those who, through equally realizing dependent origination, are without self in duality and difference, phenomena and persons.
