I. It is said that a certain monk heard, therefore, thus, by the words of the abbot, the bodhisattva sangha with power, etc., and the noble shravakas who have attained the three liberations, in the southern first mountain, and the last mountain place, the Mahayana was correctly summarized into seven pitakas. The noble Kashyapa and the noble Ananda, and Upali, etc., correctly summarized the three pitakas in Rajagriha. Extremely vast is up to the Mahayana, arising from the union of the noble shravakas, distinguished by the venerable bodhisattvas, how to summarize into the Mahayana in this sutra. The five dharmas and nature, the eight consciousnesses, within the two selflessnesses, all Mahayana are included. Thus, there are characteristics, conceptualization, name, correct knowledge, suchness and the five dharmas. These are summarized into the imputed, the dependent, and the perfectly established. Characteristics and conceptualization are summarized into the dependent. Name is in the imputed. Correct knowledge and suchness are in the perfectly established. The alaya consciousness that appears as body, enjoyment, and place is a characteristic, the eight and nine kinds are also like that. Among them, the consciousness of mind is the nature of conceptualization, conceptualizing on the nature of the clear form of the dependent. Name is uncertain, because it arises from imputation, therefore it is the characteristic of pervasive imputation. Correct knowledge is the nature of wisdom's discernment. It is separated from the two aspects, the non-dual nature of dharma, without thought and without appearance, the ultimate truth is non-dual, the nature of correct knowledge, realizing suchness without conceptualizing things. The two selflessnesses are the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of person. How it arises from the holy mother Prajnaparamita, not abiding in the assembly, and not being fearless, it is called the emptiness of inner and outer. If analyzed, like houses, villages, forests, etc., abiding in the assembly of external objects.

There is no place. As it is said in this sutra: When form is analyzed into atoms, there are no parts of the atom. Thus it is said. What is this appearance? Even without external objects, the mind appears as two. Thus it is said. What is not fearless is that permanence, self, etc., do not exist, because they are unborn, so like a rabbit's horn, etc., it is only the absence of things. Therefore, these two selflessnesses should be practiced as a means to realize all emptiness. The nature is the realm of purity, the place of the five dharmas, and there is no contradiction to the nature of dharma. Virtuous Bodhisattvas, in order to benefit sentient beings, and in order to achieve omniscience in the Mahayana, distinguish the differences of the Mahayana by means of the grounds and perfections. Omniscience, in order to enable the Shravakas to also realize the liberation of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, therefore teaches, such as monks, the eye is emptiness, it is storage, it is nourishment, it is only consciousness, it is seen as a combination. Therefore, form is like a mass of bubbles, feeling is like a bubble on water, thought is like a mirage, action is like a banana tree, and consciousness is like an illusion. This was said by the Kinsman of the Sun (Shakyamuni Buddha). Thus it is said. Therefore, with regard to what does not contradict the scriptures, some agree, and some do not agree. Those who enter into agreement and disagreement are not abandoned or despised, so these people will also fall into the lower realms. The wise are those who accept what is well said, so the wise will listen. Because one understands that one's own mind is only an appearance, one does not discriminate about permanence, self, external objects, etc., and thus truly realizes the true Mahayana. Liberated from the discriminations of the Shravakas and heretics, and understands the relationship between karma and result apart from creators such as Brahma and Indra. This mind is naturally luminous, and by whomever and however the actions of good and non-good, etc., are applied, it will be accomplished accordingly, therefore, when distinguishing between the grounds and perfections, what is distinguished is related to appearance.
