It is the thought that it is merely an appearance. The mind is connected with objects and everything. What is called the Alaya-vijñana is the other-powered nature that appears as body, enjoyment, and place. To enter into conceptualization means that the mind-consciousness, which conceptualizes the objects of conceptualization, such as permanence, external objects, things, qualities, and actions, subsequently conceptualizes them. It is the perfectly established nature without appearance. In the non-dual self-nature, all three wisdoms enter. The meaning of the word "also" is because it appears as a distinction in relation to the previous aspect. The nature of what is completely imputed exists, but the other-powered nature does not exist, which means that the nature of what is completely imputed is convincingly existent, but the other-powered nature does not have the fault of non-conceptualization, because those who manifestly speak with conceptualizations will refute it, and because of such concerns, the all-knowing one spoke in response to them: "Erroneous conceptualizations appear." That is to say, erroneous clinging to the meaning of words in a general way, therefore the nature of what is conceptualized is clung to by error. Because the other-powered nature is clear, you say that it is non-conceptual, but nevertheless conceptualizing like what is completely imputed, because of such concerns, it is said that the other-powered nature does not conceptualize, just as the appearance of clear forms such as hair due to cataracts and the like occurs as one wishes, and even if one wishes for it to happen or not happen, it is like being controlled by it. Conceptualization is not like that, but my intention arises and ceases, and I do not conceptualize myself by myself. Wherever one reads about what is conceptualized, it is there, just like the conceptualization of a horse is also because one sees a cow. The verses on the ultimate truth are universally proclaimed. In the verses, because it also appears to be related to special distinctions and the like, it is merely an explanation. The division of illusion and the distinction of various things with divisions cannot be established as external things, because it is merely an appearance. Similarly, the characteristics also act on various things, and all the distinctions between external objects such as form are also the same aspect.

The different parts cannot be established if they are distinguished, because they are merely appearances of form and mind, so the word "thusness" can be used. The "characteristics" in "characteristics, evil destinies," etc., refer to the characteristics of form, etc. It appears like dizziness, blurred vision, fainting, etc., due to the emptiness of the internal organs. Among them, the characteristics of evil destinies are also constant, self, pleasure, and purity, and the inverted cycle of samsara arises in external objects, which is the continuity of the alaya consciousness. The fully conceptualized is the nature of self, external objects, and substances, etc., which are universally falsely imputed. Ignorant people who do not understand regard it as the color of light arising from others, and cling to permanence, external objects, and substances, etc. The so-called "what is this," etc., is to clarify the meaning of the above verses, that is, the coarse, branched form is actually unborn, but is related to various causes such as merit, karma, and generality, and is conceptualized as being born from others. This is explained by half of the previous chapter and half of the following chapter. The so-called "various appearances" means that through places such as lineage, merit, and karma, the fully conceptualized itself is dependent on others, which is what children distinguish. These three non-inverted natures pervade the profound sutras of the Mahayana. As it is said here: By the nature of permanence, all dharmas are unborn, relying on others, people generate discriminating thoughts. When the discriminating thoughts of others are completely abandoned and purified, then the accomplishment of suchness is shown. I have explained this sutra in the sutras. Thus. So, how to understand "permanence is unborn"? In order to prove this, the sutra says: Conventional and ultimate. That is to say, in the conventional, the color of light, etc., arising from others obscures the true suchness of non-duality, just as the appearance seen by a person with blurred vision obscures the true knowledge. The so-called "there is no third born from cause" refers to the constant, self, dust, and substantial objects of limbs, etc., like the son of a barren woman, which are merely conceptually established. Because they arise, they are discriminated.
