It is just like that. From the power of the complete maturation of being defiled by the habitual tendencies of beginningless misdeeds, various kinds of phenomena, aggregates, realms, and sources, as well as the distinctions that arise dependently, are merely individual appearances. Regarding distinguishing this as a cause, the Omniscient One teaches as the difference of appearance, for that great wisdom one, there are six kinds of causes, namely: the cause of what will arise, the cause of connection, the cause of nature, the cause of action, the cause of non-appearance, and the cause of dependence. Regarding this, the Omniscient One distinguishes and teaches, for that great wisdom one, the cause of what will arise is to perform the function of cause for the arising of inner and outer dharmas, whatever the Omniscient One thinks there, it should be measured accordingly, that is, the various phenomena of the world arise from karma, therefore it is "what will arise." If one considers the various phenomena of the body and the world, the inner and outer gross and subtle appearances, then the Omniscient One himself is प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure, प्रमाण, pramana, measure). Great wisdom one, the cause of connection is to perform the function of object for the arising of inner and outer aggregates and seeds, etc., that is, the appearance of form, etc., is because of the object, therefore it is the object, the appearance itself is considered by the Bhagavan as the object of cause and effect. Great wisdom one, the cause of nature is produced in connection with the nature that produces immediately, that is, the nature of the karma that produces immediately, with what is connected, through what nature to examine what, that is the cause of nature. Just like the treatise of the declaration of prophecy, the author is autonomous, this is the universal distinction. Great wisdom one, the cause of action is the function belonging to the root. Like the Cakravartin king, that is the cause of combination, just like Devadatta uses the offering vase to do things. Like the Cakravartin king, that is, just as the Cakravartin king grasps other kings to do things, therefore the main cause is considered as the cause of grasping. The special examination, the Omniscient One himself is प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure, प्रमाण, pramana, measure). Great wisdom one, the cause of making appear is the object of distinction

The characteristic of arising is the action of manifestation, like a lamp to form and so on. Just as a lamp illuminates objects of discrimination such as vases and coarse cloths, so too, the distinct manifestation of what has previously arisen is called the action of manifestation. If we speak truthfully, it is the very act of doing; such a moment depends on another moment, and moments arise continuously, but whatever does not make the characteristics different is the action of manifestation. Great wisdom, the cause of dependence is that at the time of reversal, because objects of non-discrimination arise, it cuts off the action. This means that when causes and conditions come together, and after that, the fruit arises or becomes inferior, that is called the cause of dependence. For example, when wood turns into ashes depending on fire, there is no discrimination, up to the point of not discriminating the previous wood. These, O Great Wisdom, are pondered by ordinary childish beings through the discrimination of their own minds; they do not enter gradually, nor do they arise suddenly. Why? O Great Wisdom, if they were to arise suddenly, then there would be no distinction between action and agent. What does the All-Knowing One mean? It is because both attain the arising of self. Because cause and effect are simultaneous, and there is no benefit or benefactor, it is not possible to distinguish them at the same time. Because the characteristic of cause is not obtained, it means that if the cause benefits the effect and obtains the characteristic, but there is no benefactor, then the cause does not obtain the characteristic of cause. Alternatively, it is said that the fruit is the fruit that has not obtained its characteristic from the cause. The All-Knowing One connects these two words to the meaning of sound, but when considered, there is no contradiction in the nature of phenomena. If it arises by entering gradually, then it is said to be because of the nature of not obtaining the characteristic, that is, because of the nature of not obtaining the characteristic of action. When there is a moment of cause, there is no moment of effect; how can existence and non-existence be related? Who is the one moment?
