Both those who have left home and those who have not, argue and make noise about work and worldly affairs due to the affliction of craving. Due to the affliction of wrong views, the body is burned and tormented by various sufferings, that is its meaning. The sutra says: 'Without merit, all are burned by fire.' Up to 'Those who are burned are scattered with blood.' is because in that place, afflictions are pacified by pure meditation, so afflictions do not arise, but because they are not truly meritorious, their merit is weak. Afflictions, such as desire, ignorance, pride, doubt, and the view of the perishable aggregate, are burned by afflictions, and because afflictions are not abandoned, there is harm even in the formless realm, so it is said that they nourish each other. Holding one's own views firmly is like being scattered with blood. The sutra says: 'There dying, the jackals rejoice.' Up to 'In the world, they are scattered in all four directions.' is a metaphor shown to mean not scattering, because one seeks liberation from afflictions but holds onto views. 'Jackals' etc. also include other afflictions of the desire realm. In the form realm, afflictions such as desire are shown to be like devouring each other. The stench of afflictions spreading in all four directions is a metaphor showing the afflictions of the four dhyanas. The sutra says: 'The centipede flees.' Up to 'Extremely tormented by hunger and burning.' This also shows the afflictions of the formless realm. The fire of the cessation meditation of the lower three realms of the formless realm is the cause of the upper realm, that is its meaning. 'གྲུལ་བུམ' (Grul bum, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: Earthen pot) refers to heretics holding many views, thinking they are seeking the place of the guru's guru, meaning that by eating the food of evil views, afflictions recede and increase. 'Thousands of flames blaze fiercely.' refers to the heretics dwelling at the peak of existence, suffering from the lack of food and drink of the true teachings, and being burned by the fire of afflictions. The sutra says: 'The owner of this house, sits at the door, watching very carefully.' This refers to the following, using fourteen root verses.

An example of showing the meaning of honesty, an example of generating compassion for those who suffer, an example of showing the extraordinary, an example of being tormented by suffering, and an example of explaining the three vehicles. This is an example of generating compassion for those who suffer. Showing those who suffer, in two sentences, the first sentence is an example of showing the Buddha's appearance in the world. The latter half and two sentences show the meaning of generating compassion for suffering beings. The so-called "dwelling at the door" means to stay and dwell, that is, the children living in that house dwell with a mind of torment, and stay with a mind of protection, and dwell with a mind of immediately benefiting after the senses mature, and rescue from the place of affliction, thinking of settling in the place of accomplishment and happiness. The sutra says, "He heard there, he is my son." Until "Therefore I do not know." This metaphor shows that sentient beings suffer in the land of affliction. It is shown in detail in prose. The so-called "hearing" refers to the Tathagatas of the three times hearing that sentient beings live in suffering, and seeing with their own eyes that sentient beings suffer. From beginningless time, due to shamelessness and lack of shame, indulging in various afflictions, this is the ignorance of children. The sutra says, "After hearing this, he went there immediately." Until "Great sufferings are for each other." This shows the arising of compassion. Sentient beings living in samsara are like entering a burning house, meaning that they cannot be quickly liberated. Among them, the faults of the house are used to explain: "These sufferings are unbearable, son of a noble family." This shows that it has great suffering and fear, meaning that it is generated and tormented by the Mahayana. The so-called "for each other" means that from beginningless time, they gather together, and in the place of affliction, birth, old age, sickness, and death continue uninterruptedly. The so-called "unbearable" means that being born from a heretical family, living at home and deceiving others is unbearable. The sutra says: Emanation and harm
