Like a demon, those who abandon right views and lack wisdom, clinging to wrong views, are like those who crave food and are tormented by it, never escaping the fear of birth, old age, sickness, and death. The way non-Buddhists view the right path through their practices is like looking at the sky through a window. The sutra says, "Great and high, yet utterly unstable." From this to "A thousand flames blaze everywhere" indicates the place where various demons and omens reside. "One person is completely controlled" is an analogy for a Bodhisattva dwelling in the world and liberating beings from the stage of practicing with aspiration to attaining unsurpassed Bodhi. "That person came out of the house" is like a house without an owner being renovated, collapsing and decaying without views. After the Bhagavan's Parinirvana, there was no owner of the Dharma in the world, so it means the three realms are empty. The burning flames mean that various afflictions spread, expanding in all directions between birth, old age, sickness, and death. The sutra says, "Light and trees are burned by fire." To "The pillars and walls also burn in the same way," the beams mean the skandha of feeling, the rafters mean the bones, the skandha of form means the pillars, and because the five skandhas such as birth pervade, it means the walls. Destruction means the impermanence of the skandha of formation. In general, these five skandhas are terrifying and unstable, always causing fear due to birth, old age, sickness, and death. What is the difference between the two examples of fire and creatures dwelling in the house? Because the body and mind are burned, the example of fire is shown. Because afflictions such as ignorance suddenly arise, it is an example of various creatures bringing fear. The consciousness skandha is the dwelling place of the other four skandhas, so it is regarded as a house. The sutra says, "Yakshas and Rakshasas make sounds." To "There, many flesh-eaters fight each other," it shows inauspicious omens and various demons in the desire realm and form realm. In the desire realm, non-Buddhists from home...
