This is to dispel doubts about "Tan." Even if what was said before and what was said later are inconsistent, it will not become false, because only I know, you do not know, so believe. Be convinced. You must realize when you first generate Bodhicitta. From generating Bodhicitta after attaining Arhatship, after twenty thousand kalpas, it will be the same as the mind of faith practiced in three countless kalpas, so you should not doubt, but be convinced, and there is no falsehood in what I say, it is completely the One Vehicle. In the sutra, from "Then, the Bhagavan" to "have faith in the female lay devotees," from here on, one hundred and twenty-one verses are divided into two parts. One hundred and eighteen words are repeated alone. Three words are connected to the text below. The former is also divided into two types, one hundred and fifteen words show the two previously prophesied situations. Three words show the elimination of four doubts, and the former is also divided into two types. The first four words show that from the prophecy, those with defects are excluded. Eighty-one words show the prophecy. Among the first four words, one word previously said shows being controlled by pride. Three words show that the root of evil is great. This verse shows being controlled by pride. If a monastic abides in discipline but says that he has attained what he has not attained, then he is an arrogant person. A layperson also clings to "I" and gives rise to a mind of arrogance. An arrogant female lay devotee, even without the food of "I," gives rise to the thought of "I" because of following the family, so she is called arrogant. In the sutra, it says, "Not less than five thousand." To "They all abide in the essence." Between, these three words show that the root of evil is great. Covering up faults is concealing sins after the discipline has declined. Decline is the discipline declining to a great extent. Saying that one has attained what one has not attained is that there is no root of discipline, so he has neither discipline nor complete purity. Samadhi will not manifest either. Being called dregs is that nothing is needed, and is a person with a child's mind.

Even if one falls due to the power of the Buddhas, if one hears the sacred Dharma, one will generate sin by slandering the Dharma, because there is no benefit, one will fall. The Sutra says: 'Listen to me like this, Shariputra.' From this sentence to 'hundreds of thousands of skillful means,' this passage of scripture uses one hundred and eleven words to describe the prophecy. Just as the previous sutra was divided into six ways, here it is also divided into six ways, with six words explaining why it is spoken. Eight and a half words explain the dwelling place. Two and a half words explain the precepts. Nine and a half words explain the meaning of what is relied upon. Seventy-one words explain the collection of Dharma. Seven words explain that the unheard should be heard. The explanation in the sutra and the explanation in the commentary are inconsistent. Six words explain why it is spoken, which is further divided into two ways. Five and a half words explain why it is done. Two and a half words explain that it is spoken according to the capacity of the individual. Among them, one verse explains various causes. Two words explain the non-deceptive language and various causes and metaphors. Two and a half words explain various Dharmas, and this verse explains various causes according to the capacity of the individual. The Sutra says: 'How are his (her) thoughts and actions, you know.' Until 'How to make all sentient beings rejoice.' In between, it explains the non-deceptive language and various causes and metaphors. Understanding means realizing Bodhi. Various faiths refer to the meaning of supreme aspiration. Thoughts and actions refer to virtuous and non-virtuous actions. In this way, because of knowing thoughts, speculations, and various faiths, by explaining many non-deceptive languages, causes, and metaphors, all beings are made to rejoice. The Sutra says, 'Thus the Sutra Pitaka' to 'It is also said that it is determined.' Here, the twelve divisions of the scriptures are explained. There are also three ways: explaining the nature, explaining the name, and explaining the difference. There are also two kinds of nature of the Sutra Pitaka: the common nature and the individual nature. Among them, the common nature is from 'Thus I have heard' to 'rejoicing and accepting'.

All those meanings expressed by words are called common characteristics. In commentaries, except for the verses of the sutras, expressing the meaning of words from the words themselves is called their own characteristic. There are also two ways of expressing with sound: to benefit those who come later, and to clearly indicate the meaning that is not certain from the single word. In the commentaries, some sutras are inconsistent from beginning to end, and repeating the verses after a separate statement is beneficial to those who come later. For the meaning that is not certain from the single word, repeating the verses clarifies the meaning, so it is called clearly indicating the uncertain meaning. There are three types of prophecy: prophesying the cause and effect of the birth of the near-dweller, clearly prophesying the definitive meaning, and prophesying the bodhisattva to become a Buddha. For the near-dweller of the noble one, prophesying that you have done such good and bad deeds in the past, thereby prophesying the difference in the place of birth, is prophesying the cause and effect of the place of birth. For the uncertain meaning of the sutra, prophesying to the definitive meaning is deeply prophesying the definitive meaning. Maitreya Bodhisattva, you will become a Buddha named Maitreya in the future in the era called King Dhvaja, such prophecy is prophesying Buddhahood. A verse refers to the expression of meaning in the sutras not from a single word, but in verses of two, three, four, five, or six lines, etc., and such a statement in the form of verses is called the section of verses. Spontaneous utterance refers to the direct declaration in the sutras without the need for request, in order to make the true Dharma, the teachings, and the long-lasting world, which is called the section of spontaneous utterance. There are also three types of discourse: teaching after request, establishing precepts from decline, and teaching the Dharma because there is discourse. In the commentaries, teaching after discourse refers to speaking after request. Establishing the precepts of learning refers to establishing. In the sutras, the discourse is raised by others, for example, in Shravasti, someone caught a bird and released it again, thereby raising the discourse, and the Blessed One also raised the previous causes and taught, this is the dis
