The above is indicated by "seeing the supreme wisdom." Greatness means unsurpassed excellence, meaning sacred. All of these are the scope of the two wisdoms: unobstructedness is the fourfold distinct correct knowledge of each of the four fearlessnesses. Power is the ten powers. Fearlessness is the four fearlessnesses. Unmixedness is the eighteen unshared qualities. Faculties and powers are five each. Limbs of enlightenment are seven. Meditations are four. Liberations are eight. Samadhi is three. Attainments are nine. The explanation of the characteristics and categories of these is as explained in detail in the sutras and treatises. In the sutra, from "possessing wonderful qualities" to "those who teach correctly," it indicates the definitive word. The commentary says that in order to indicate the seven kinds of perfect teachers, this is the first: deeply entering the dharmas of the world and beyond the world. In the sutra, from "Shariputra" to "do," it indicates the perfection of speech, and the perfection of name and sign. The Tathagata teaches the Dharma with a pleasant and pleasing voice, that voice is like a dragon's roar, extremely profound, clear and pure, it carries far, and those who hear it feel joy, and faith and reverence arise in their hearts, it is a voice that easily understands the meaning of happiness, the listeners are not tired, and it is a voice that is skilled in distinguishing dharmas. The perfection of name and characteristic means "is that all that is needed?" because sentient beings who have become vessels of Dharma have already matured. There are two kinds of Dharma vessels, correct and incorrect. The correct ones are Shariputra and others. The incorrect ones are the arrogant. Those who have become correct Dharma vessels, the noble ones, are delighted by the joy of the holy Dharma, therefore they are honored as "supreme," and those who are incorrect Dharma vessels also think that they have only attained the mind of a noble one, and that it is enough to have attained the Dharma of extreme liberation, so they say "enough." In the sutra, from "Shariputra, the Tathagata" to "obtained great rarity," it indicates that it is worthy of being declared, the noble Shariputra.

Because those whose faculties are matured by taming and so forth are worthy to explain the excellent qualities of the Dharma, they attain great wonders. In the sutra, from "Shariputra, only this much" to "Shariputra, the Tathagata knows," it shows the immeasurable and perfect aspect. The essence of the Tathagata is unchanging, it is the nature of the Dharmakaya. Because he knows all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, he knows the immeasurable aspects. These words explain the meaning of the words such as skillful means and seeing wisdom mentioned above by the sutra itself, and should be combined and understood in order. In the sutra, from "What are these dharmas?" to "The Tathagata is directly perceived, not indirectly perceived," the Tathagata also directly sees and knows all dharmas and then teaches the Dharma. These five meanings of the words should be repeated four times. Among them, "What is the Dharma?" excludes the introduction to the three vehicles, but introduces what is the meaning of certainty; "What are these dharmas like?" shows various meanings in the one vehicle; "How are these dharmas?" is to accomplish pure conduct for those who enter the gate of the three vehicles; "What is the nature?" is to show the nature of the three vehicles as one; "What is the essence?" is that it ultimately returns to the one vehicle, showing that there is no essence of two or three. Furthermore, from here onwards, if these words are interpreted differently, "What are these dharmas?" are conditioned and unconditioned dharmas; "What are these dharmas like?" are those produced by cause and condition, and those not produced by cause and condition. Among them, those produced by cause and condition are conditioned dharmas, and those not produced by cause and condition are unconditioned dharmas. "How are these dharmas?" are permanent and impermanent dharmas, among which those not produced by cause and condition are permanent dharmas, and those produced by cause and condition are impermanent dharmas. "What is the nature?" is the nature of the dharmas of arising, abiding, and ceasing. The dharma that possesses these three natures is the conditioned and impermanent dharma.
