Ra ro. Furthermore, this is embraced by the Tathagatas, because there is no other place. Furthermore, this is the secret Dharma of the Tathagatas, because this Dharma is extremely profound, and only the Buddha can know it. Secret means the meaning of treasury. Furthermore, this is the treasury of the qualities of the Tathagatas, because it is the treasury of merit and samadhi, etc. Commentary on the Lotus Sutra, Volume Two. Furthermore, this is the secret place of the Tathagatas, and it should not be given to those whose faculties are not mature and who are not vessels. Furthermore, this is the birth of the Tathagatas, because hearing this Dharma gate can obtain the Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya. Furthermore, this is the realm of the Tathagatas, because this Dharma accomplishes unsurpassed Bodhi, and other sutras do not, so it reveals the Dharmakaya and wisdom of the Tathagatas. Furthermore, this is the Dharmakaya of the Tathagatas, because it practices the removal of the obscurations of Dharma. Furthermore, this reveals the relics of the Tathagatas of the three times, because it is shown from within the qualities of the Tathagatas and this Dharmakaya. Furthermore, this is skillful means, because by relying on the meaning of this Dharma, one can manifest complete enlightenment. After becoming a Buddha, one can also show gods and humans and other sentient beings the wisdom and means of attaining Bodhi through the Dharma of the five vehicles. Furthermore, this single vehicle shows the nature of unsurpassed Bodhi, but the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are not the true ultimate. Furthermore, this is the place of ultimate meaning, this Dharma is the true place of the Dharmakaya of the Tathagatas, because the Dharmakaya itself is supreme, so it is called the supreme place. Furthermore, this name "Wonderful Dharma White Lotus" has two meanings from the explanation: the meaning of arising from water, and the meaning of opening. Arising from water also has two meanings: arising from the turbid water of the two vehicles, the Bodhisattva who realizes enlightenment in an instant, like a lotus, is free from defilement and can firmly establish the Dharma nature.

This shows the way to realize the teachings of the one vehicle. Or, the two vehicles arise from the muddy water and enter the great retinue of the Thus-Gone One, that is, the bodhisattvas sit on the lotus seat and realize the boundless, inexhaustible, completely pure wisdom realm, the secret treasury of the Thus-Gone One, just as the hearers also gradually enter the meaning of the correct teachings, doctrine, practice, and fruit. Furthermore, this is the door of the unsurpassed Dharma, for the sake of gathering all perfections. Gathering is unsurpassed because it gathers all the collections of boundless names, words, and letters. Because all the Dharma that has been spoken and will be spoken is gathered here. Among these seventeen names, this is the general term. The others are terms of distinction. There are three names for this sutra: boundless and inexhaustible, which shows the special characteristic of blessings. The advice to the bodhisattvas is the meaning spoken for the sake of those whose faculties are mature. Being completely grasped by all the Buddhas means relying on the Buddhas themselves. Because these three are the main ones, they are mentioned. Boundless is of two kinds: boundless in meaning and boundless in words. Boundless in words is the Dharma that is spoken. Meaning is the Dharma to be taught. In the sutra, the Bhagavan, having sat cross-legged on the Dharma seat itself, entered into the samadhi called "Showing the Boundless and Inexhaustible," remaining with his body unmoving and his mind unmoving, which is showing the supreme Dharma of perfect conduct. Because in teaching this profound Dharma, one enters into supreme conduct, it is appropriate to sit cross-legged and remain. Remaining is also of two kinds: remaining to subdue the maras and remaining in an auspicious posture, this is remaining in the first posture. Supreme conduct is also of three kinds: remaining in perfect samadhi, with body and mind unmoving. Or, offering divine flowers in the outer world, and remaining in the shaking of the pure lands. Or, remaining in the inner world, that is, the fourfold retinue.
