The afflictions and habitual tendencies that should be abandoned are the outflows of desire. In the form and formless realms, the remaining afflictions after removing anger are the outflows of existence. The fifteen kinds of ignorance in the three realms are the outflows of ignorance. Among them, the afflictions of the desire realm are also based on desire, so they are the outflows of desire. In the form and formless realms, afflictions are not produced by others, but the connection with existence itself is the affliction, so it is the outflow of existence. Ignorance itself actually causes leakage, so it is the outflow of ignorance. Liberating the second statement with the first of the four statements means that because one has attained mastery, it is called the exhaustion of outflows. Liberating the fourth statement with the second and third statements means that because the outflows are exhausted and there are no afflictions, it is called attaining perfect mastery. It is called attaining mastery because the manifest and habitual afflictions have been abandoned. Liberating the fourth statement with the sixth statement means that because wisdom and mind are completely liberated, it is called attaining supreme mastery. The mind is liberated by abandoning the obscurations of concentration, and wisdom is liberated by abandoning the obscurations of inherent nature. Wisdom is liberated by abandoning ignorance and craving, and the mind is liberated by the shifting of the mind associated with it. It is called attaining mastery because one is free from the faults of both and realizes the unconditioned. It is also called being without afflictions because the manifest and habitual bonds of these have been abandoned. Because the mind and wisdom are completely liberated, one is peaceful and tamed like a good horse. Being called a great elephant is like going to any uncomfortable place, the road is comfortable, and like walking in an undamaged place, one reaches any place one wants to go without hindrance. Therefore, what needs to be done has been done, and what should have been done has been completed. Because what should have been done has been completed, the burden has been laid down. Because the truth of the path and cessation has been realized, it means that one will not take rebirth in the future. Because the heavy burden of connection with existence has been abandoned, one has attained one's own benefit, which means attaining the bliss of Nirvana. Attaining one's own benefit and bliss also means that because the cause of afflictions has been abandoned, one no longer accepts anything connected with existence, the three realms

That means not being born. Because the outflows are exhausted, the mind is completely liberated by the true teachings. Complete liberation of the mind means eliminating all the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and to be abandoned by meditation, gaining mastery over the mind, and perfecting qualities such as miraculous powers and clairvoyance. This is the second distinction, the door of showing the general and the specific. The statement "all are Arhats" is the general characteristic. The other fifteen meanings of the words are the specific characteristics. The meaning of Arhat is fifteen kinds of appropriate meanings. Among them, because the outflows are exhausted, it is appropriate to offer all offerings such as food and beds, so it is beautiful as a field of offering. Because it is free from all afflictions, it is controlled by the teacher, because it is free from seeking profit and fame. It is also appropriate to enter. If entering towns and cities, because the mind has gained freedom, it will not be deceived by desirable objects. It is appropriate to subdue demons and heretics, because it possesses the courage of wisdom of complete liberation of the mind. It is appropriate to quickly gain wisdom about all dharmas, because wisdom is completely liberated, so it is proficient in the characteristics of all dharmas. When teaching the Dharma, it is appropriate to be free from the faults of being too fast or too slow, because teaching the Dharma is proficient, the connection is not annoying, just like a clever horse, the mind is very subdued. It is appropriate to live alone in solitude, because one does not accumulate or collect all necessities such as food and clothing, and abides in contentment, just like an elephant stays away from noise. In general, one is not attached to the dhyanas, because one has completed what needs to be done, so one constantly strives on the ground of the lama. Constantly acting in emptiness, because one has completed what needs to be done, one is free from grasping at self and what belongs to self. Constantly possessing the signless conduct, because one has abandoned the heavy burden, one abides in cessation. Constantly possessing the wishless conduct, because one has obtained the happiness of self-interest, one abides without wishing for samsara. Because one is not attached to the taste of joy in the dhyanas of the worlds, one has completely abandoned the connection with existence. The qualities of all dharmas are special.
