The so-called "birth" is mentioned in the Sutra of Great Adornment, in the chapter of "Showing Birth", where it says that at that time, Queen Maya, by the power of the Bodhisattva, knew that the Bodhisattva would soon be born, so she entered the Lumbini Garden, looked at all the trees, and went to the precious tree, the Ashoka tree. She looked up at the tree and grasped the eastern branch with her right hand. With a slight bend of her body, as if standing straight, she was born peacefully from her mother's right side. At that time, without relying on anyone, he took seven steps towards the east, and a lotus flower grew from each footprint. Similarly, he took seven steps towards the south, west, and north, and seven lotus flowers grew from each set of steps. He proclaimed, "I am the most noble in the world, the most excellent in the world, and all beings should make offerings to me." When he proclaimed this, the sound resounded throughout the entire three thousand great thousand world realms. Furthermore, in the Sutra of Universal Illumination, it says that Indra, the Lord of the Gods, and the King of the Gods immediately came and bathed the Bodhisattva with various kinds of fragrant water. The nine great Dragon Kings descended fragrant water from above and bathed the Holy One. In the Great Nirvana Sutra, it says that as soon as he was born, without touching the ground, Indra, the Lord of the Gods, took him away. The Dragon Kings Nanda and Upananda poured down streams of water to bathe him. The King of Gods, Vasudhara, held a precious umbrella and attended to him. The earth gods manifested lotus flowers and lifted his feet, and he walked seven steps in each of the four directions. In the Avatamsaka Sutra, it says, why did the Bodhisattva take seven steps? He took seven steps to fully display the seven precious things. The earth gods took seven steps to fulfill all wishes. He took seven steps to fully display the characteristics of the seven branches of enlightenment. The so-called "growing up" is mentioned in the Sutra of Great Adornment, in the chapter of "Letters".

In the language of..., at the age of seven, he went to study writing, and the teacher saw that I was not a teacher of Bodhisattvas. Then the prince said, among the sixty-four types of writing, please teach me one. At that time, the teacher heard something he had never heard before and was very surprised, and requested the prince to explain it. Furthermore, in the chapter on farming, the Bodhisattva gradually grew up, and at another time, sat in the lotus position under a tree in Jambudvipa, entering into the four dhyanas, and the shadows of the other trees moved with the sun. The shadow of the tree where the Bodhisattva sat remained unmoved. Furthermore, in the chapter on demonstrating skills, at that time, five hundred Shakya princes, as well as throwing, writing, arithmetic, mutual striking, etc., competed in various skills, and all of them were victorious. Just like this, the detailed content is as stated in the sutra itself. Among them, enjoying desires, as stated in the chapter on demonstrating skills in the "Great Adornment Sutra": After that, the Shakyas said to the king, the prince has grown up, and the fortune-tellers predicted that if he renounces the world, he will surely become a Buddha. If he stays at home, he will become a Chakravartin king. Therefore, they tried their best to find a consort, because of this reason and condition, the prince would not renounce the world. At that time, in the city of Kapilavastu, there was a minister named Gandayibathopa, who had a daughter named Grachenma, who was extremely beautiful in appearance. After that, the king's father took her as the prince's consort. At that time, the Bodhisattva also lived among eighty-four thousand consorts, in accordance with worldly customs, demonstrating the enjoyment of desires, and Grachenma was the most excellent. Just like this, the detailed content is as stated in the sutra itself. In the "Great Nirvana Sutra" it says:

It is said that the Bodhisattva resided in the palace with sixty thousand consorts, enjoying the pleasures of desire. The so-called "Going Forth" is as described in the Sutra of the Great Adornment: The Bodhisattva went out of the city and encountered an old man at the east gate of the city, a sick person at the south gate, a dead person at the west gate, and a renunciate walking in the sky by means of miraculous powers at the north gate. Having heard the extensive explanation of the benefits and virtues of renunciation, he requested to renounce, but the king, his father, did not permit it. Furthermore, in the chapter on "Going Forth," it says: The gods urged the Bodhisattva to go forth quickly in the middle of the night and instructed Chandaka to harness the horse. Chandaka shouted loudly so that the people in the palace would hear, but due to the power of the gods in the sky, they all fell asleep and no one noticed. Chandaka harnessed the horse and offered it to the Bodhisattva. At that time, when he mounted the king of horses and set out for the first time, the great earth in the ten directions shook in six ways. When he went into the sky, the four great kings lifted the horse's feet and went. Then, the Bodhisattva went from a place called "Unknown" to a grove where ancient sages of the past had practiced austerities. Having dismounted from the horse, he aroused joy in Chandaka and instructed him, "Lead Kanthaka back and return!" After that, Chandaka shouted loudly and died. Kanthaka also lowered his head, bent his hands, placed his head on the ground, licked the Bodhisattva's feet with his tongue, made a sound, and died. The Bodhisattva thought, "If I do not shave my hair and beard, it is not the Dharma of renunciation." So, he took the jeweled sword from Chandaka and shaved his own hair. At that time, a god from the Pure Abode, transformed into a hunter wearing brown clothes, stood before the Bodhisattva. The Bodhisattva, holding the jeweled robes, those...
