It should be understood as arising from the cushions. Son of lineage, for the sake of those twenty-two kinds of universal ignorance and eleven kinds of bad situations, therefore it is said "establishing the ground," etc. This below is the third part, explaining the necessity of proclaiming ignorance, etc. This is further divided into two: explaining the intention of proclaiming ignorance, etc., and explaining liberation from the bonds of Bodhi. This is the first. Like this, because it is desired to establish the eleven grounds, therefore universal ignorance and bad situations are proclaimed, this is the concluding statement. The unsurpassed perfect enlightenment does not correspond to those bonds, with "unsurpassed Bodhi and liberation from bonds," etc., it explains the unsurpassed Bodhi and liberation from bonds. This is further divided into two: what the Tathagata himself said, and the praise of the Bodhisattva. This is the first, explaining what the Tathagata himself said, like this, in order to completely abandon universal ignorance and its bad situations at the time of perfect complete enlightenment. Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara also prayed to the Blessed One like this: Blessed One, the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is very rare, of great benefit, and able to perfectly accomplish fruits, etc., this is the second part, explaining the praise of the Bodhisattva. This is further divided into two: general and specific. This is the first, general praise. This is further divided into two: first, perfectly accomplishing great benefit is the merit of benefiting others. Second, perfectly accomplishing great fruit is the merit of benefiting oneself. Or, in order to obtain Bodhi, therefore it is said to be of great benefit. In order to obtain Nirvana, therefore it is said to be a great fruit. Or, abandoning the obscuration of knowledge is said to be of great benefit. Abandoning the obscuration of afflictions is said to be a great fruit. Bodhisattvas like this completely tear apart the great net of universal ignorance, like this from the density of bad situations

After completely passing away and attaining the unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and enlightened Bodhi, this is the second statement of special praise. This sutra passage has three meanings: to be free from all ignorance, to be completely liberated from evil destinies, and to manifest Bodhi. Bodhisattvas are endowed with these three benefits. These universal ignorances are shown as being like a net because they cover and entangle sentient beings. Because there are many evil destinies, they are shown as being like a dense forest. In another explanation, the twenty-two universal ignorances that are spoken of are divided into four The Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara: Son of good family, in brief, there are eight ways, etc., this is the second statement of the Tathagata's correct answer. This is again shown in three ways: first, stating the number and then answering briefly; listing the names according to the number; and beginning with "son of good family," starting from the grounds, distinguishing between the excellent and the non-excellent. This is the first. First, stating the number and then answering briefly that these eleven grounds have eight excellent qualities. Pure higher intention, pure mind, pure great compassion, pure pāramitā, seeing and serving the Buddhas with reverence

Purity, the purity of completely maturing sentient beings, purity of birth, and purity of power, this is called the second enumeration of names according to number. The noble Sutra of Liberation from Limits, the Sutra of Profound Meaning Liberation, the treatise Mahayana Samgraha Commentary translated by Lang ge tshe, and the arrangement in the Yogacarabhumi are mostly the same. Among them, what is called superior intention should be understood as explained in the previous section when explaining the purity of superior intention. What is called purity of mind is generally taught as purity of mind in the eight samadhis. Therefore, in the noble scriptures, purity of mind is generally taught. In the treatise Explanation, it is taught that the four dhyanas are called purity of mind. In the treatise Yogacarabhumi, it is said that initially, it is only for entering the faultless state of directly realizing the noble truths, so it is called the higher training of mind. What is called purity of compassion is the immeasurable compassion among the four immeasurables. If you ask what is the difference between compassion and great compassion? The answer is: In the treatise of the Sarvastivada school's treasury, it is said that there are eight reasons that cause differences. Therefore, in that same treatise it says: First, by nature there is no delusion, because there is no difference in the nature of inversion. Second, it is the aspect, because the aspects of three sufferings and one suffering are different. Third, it is the object, because the objects of the three realms and one realm are different. Fourth, it starts from the ground, because the fourth dhyana is universally included, while the others are different. Fifth, it starts from the body, because the body of the Tathagata (梵文,tathāgata,梵文罗马拟音,tathāgata,汉语字面意思:如来) alone is universally pervasive, while other bodies are different. Sixth, it is the manifestation, because detachment from desire at the peak of existence is different. Seventh, it is the complete accomplishment of the object of salvation, because the hope of wanting to save is different. Eighth, it is loving-kindness, equanimity.
