Starting from non-existence, examples of inner and outer are shown. For the two kinds of aggregates, inner and outer, the birth and death, etc., which are commonly produced by worldly people, are understood as subtle impermanence, etc., in order to show those examples. Or, without distinguishing between coarse and subtle, they are shown as common examples. In the explanation of the treatise, it says, "Birth and destruction are the masters," what appears is birth and destruction, not death and transference. The characteristics of suffering, such as birth, which are commonly known by worldly people, are established as approximate examples, which is called the second, the example of suffering is shown. Thus, the eight sufferings, etc., that exist in the world are closely connected to the examples of one's own suffering. The characteristic of non-self-reliance, which is commonly known by worldly people, is approximately established by the examples of objects of perception, which is called the third, the example of selflessness is shown, it is only a connection of words. Furthermore, for external objects, the declining wealth, which is commonly known by worldly people, is approximately established by the examples of objects of perception, which is called the fourth, the example of prosperity and decline is shown. Whatever is similar to that is the characteristic of the approximate establishment of examples of one's own kind, which is called the third, the conclusion, it is only a connection of words. The characteristic of complete pervasion is, from this point onwards, the fourth, showing the characteristic of complete pervasion. This also has three ways, shown by brief indication, detailed explanation, and conclusion, this is the first. For example, thus, whatever is the characteristic of direct perception, and the characteristic of the place of direct perception, and the characteristic of the object of perception of the approximate establishment of examples of one's own kind, that is uniquely and certainly established for the things to be established, which is called the second, the characteristic of complete pervasion is correctly explained, thus, direct perception and those examples, because they necessarily establish the meaning of what is to be established, are called complete pervasion. In the explanation of the treatise, what appears is complete establishment itself. It should be known as the characteristic of complete pervasion.
