Roughly recognizing the perception of, and because of recognizing the faults, liberating from the birthplace of nothingness, therefore it is said, therefore completely transcending from the birthplace of nothingness in all aspects. 'Without perception' means that previously, when entering into the birthplace of nothingness, one completely transcends from the perception of nothingness, and now completely transcends from the perception of nothingness, therefore it is said 'without perception,' which refers to the absence of the perception of nothingness and the perception of nothingness. 'Neither without perception nor not without perception' means that his perception is like this, for example, like those who are without perception or in cessation, it is not completely and entirely ceased in all aspects, but that perception is subtle, and it enters into that object without characteristics, therefore it is said 'neither without perception nor not without perception.' 'The birthplace is attained and dwells' means that when he has faith in that birthplace in that way, he completely transcends from the entity of the birthplace of nothingness together with the near attainment, and contemplates on the near attainment of the birthplace of neither without perception nor not without perception together with the ultimate practice, thereby entering into the entity of the fruit of the ultimate practice, therefore it is said that after completely transcending from the birthplace of nothingness in all aspects, the birthplace of neither without perception nor not without perception is attained and dwells. Extensive differentiation should be understood as taught in the treatise Differentiation. Among them, regarding the nature, the Sarvastivada school believes that, as taught in accordance with the correct reasoning of the scriptures, the nature of the four formless aggregates, in short, is encompassed by the nature of virtue and is the nature of one-pointedness of mind. Moreover, from the companion's perspective, apart from the form aggregate, it is the nature of the four formless aggregates that follow the formless aggregates, so it is said. The Great Vibhasha Treatise says that there are two types, namely meditation and birth-obtained.

Oh. So, samadhi is like this: the attainment of formless meditation. Being born is said to be born in the formless realm. Whatever is born there is unclouded and unindicated feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. It is said in the sutras that this phrase indicates the nature of the fruition of these four aggregates. Furthermore, in the Great Commentary, it is said that the nature of the four formless meditations is of two kinds: attained through cultivation and attained through birth. Attained through cultivation is the nature of one-pointedness of mind gathered by that very ground. Those with associates are the nature of the four aggregates. Attained through birth is the nature of the other four aggregates that possess that very ground. The nature taught by the Great Vehicle's scriptures is the same as that of the Sarvastivadins. The difference is that even if there is a form aggregate, the form that is the object of samadhi also belongs to the formless. Also, there are four aspects, namely, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Each of the four immeasurables also has its own aspect of calm abiding. This is the third teaching of the four aspects of calm abiding, because of the samadhi that equally corresponds to the four immeasurables. These four immeasurables, if briefly summarized, should be distinguished by two doors: teaching the definitive word and teaching the nature. Teaching the definitive word is also of two kinds: general and specific. Among them, immeasurable is called the general name. The scriptures of the Sarvastivadins, as taught in the Great Commentary, show it with four kinds of names. Therefore, in that very treatise it says: Therefore, what is the meaning of the word immeasurable? It is said: Because it focuses on pervading sentient beings and becomes the antidote to immeasurable proliferation of afflictions, it is called immeasurable. Proliferation is also of two kinds: afflictions of view and afflictions of existence. Therefore, it is called proliferation of afflictions. Furthermore, sentient beings

Visualizing pervasiveness everywhere. Because it becomes the antidote to immeasurable and boundless non-vigilant afflictions, it is called immeasurable. The afflictions of the desire realm are non-vigilant afflictions. Furthermore, these four aspects are called immeasurable because they have become the place widely traversed by the noble ones. Furthermore, these four aspects are called immeasurable because they take immeasurable beings as their object, and because they generate immeasurable merit and lead to immeasurable results. This is stated in the Abhidharmakosha, and it is in accordance with correct reasoning and conformity. In particular, it is in accordance with the fourth classification stated in the Great Commentary. The Mahayana treatises, as stated in the Commentary, show immeasurability in three senses: vastness, greatness, and immeasurability. Among them, vastness is because of contemplating the object of sight. Greatness is because of contemplating the object of hearing. Immeasurability is because of contemplating discrimination and discernment. Thus, these three meanings, starting from contemplating pervasiveness in one direction, up to contemplating the endless container world and sentient world in the ten directions, are called immeasurable. The specific names among them are love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. The treatises of the Sarvastivada school, as stated in the Abhidharmakosha, say that love is giving happiness, compassion is rescuing from suffering, joy is rejoicing and not being attached, and equanimity is equality. In the Great Commentary, it is said that whatever benefits is the nature of love, whatever completely eliminates harm is the nature of compassion, whatever is extremely joyful and attains equanimity is the nature of joy, and whatever forgets and disappears and becomes equality is the nature of equanimity. The Mahayana treatises, as stated in the Commentary, say that immeasurable love is like this: love's
