Because meanings vary in diverse ways, it is not permissible to determine what is profound and not profound based on what is indicated by definite and indefinite words. Among these, the third is to show the distinction between profound and not profound meanings through the texts to be expressed. There are two explanations from Indian teachers. The first is that teachers such as Bhāviveka say that among the three wheels of Dharma, the four truths are the first. The profound intention definitively explained and so on are the second, because they teach the characteristics of Dharma. The Prajñāpāramitā sutras are the third, because they teach non-objectification. The reasoning and scriptural sources they cite should be understood as explained earlier when discussing the proper understanding of emptiness. There are also two explanations from the teachers of this region. Some say that the three wheels of Dharma are merely the removal of the completely imagined. Others say that the three natures are completely removed, as in the Treatise 'Handful of Jewels' and so on. The second is the doctrine of teachers such as Dharmapāla, which shows that only the completely imagined is removed, but not the two natures. Within these doctrines themselves, there are two explanations. The first is that the Tripiṭaka Satyasatya says that after completely removing the three natures, the three non-natures are established, so it should be understood that the establishment and non-establishment are taught in order. The second is that the Tripiṭaka master Xuanzang says that of the three natures, only the completely imagined is removed, but not the two natures. This is as explained earlier when discussing the proper understanding of emptiness. Among their statements, there are profound and not profound ones. Among these, the very first turning of the wheel of Dharma of the four truths also has two meanings: with manifest activity and without manifest activity. These are the four truths of existence and transformation, which is the first turning of the wheel of Dharma.
