Or, firstly, it relies on the path of seeing. Later, it relies on all three paths. Here, the Sautrāntikas, if we combine the view of the Sarvāstivādins that the wheel of Dharma is turned only by relying on the path of seeing with refutation, then, generally, the teachings of the noble ones and the paths of the noble ones are repeated three times, and twelve aspects are taught. Therefore, if, as stated in the Abhidharmakośa, the three repetitions and twelve aspects are not only in the path of seeing, then how can the wheel of Dharma be established only in the path of seeing? Therefore, the category of Dharma that exists in the three repetitions and twelve aspects themselves is called the wheel of Dharma, which is in accordance with correct reasoning. How is it three repetitions? Because it is three repetitions. How are the twelve aspects complete? Because the four noble truths are to be acted upon three times, namely: This is suffering, the origin, cessation, and path; this is to be fully known, to be abandoned, to be realized, and to be cultivated; this is fully known, abandoned, realized, and cultivated, and so on, extensively explained. The Sautrāntikas teach three from the perspective of states, and four from the perspective of truths. The nature of the twelve aspects will be explained according to the view of the Mahāyāna Svātantrika. If that is the case, then how should the previously cited sutra be understood and explained? It is said that the sutra is taught from the order of explanation, so there is no contradiction even if eye, consciousness, clarity, and intelligence are explained in accordance with the teachings of the Yogācārabhūmi. Here, if combined with the teachings of the Mahāyāna, it is also in accordance with the views of the Sautrāntikas. Therefore, in the treatise Dharmacakrapravartana Sūtra, it is said: Furthermore, how many repetitions and aspects of the nature of the wheel of Dharma did the Bhagavan turn? The meaning of that will be explained here, namely, the wheel of Dharma is three repetitions and the nature of the aspects.

Now, possessing twelve aspects, this is the Noble Truth of Suffering. This is the Noble Truth of Origin. This is the Noble Truth of Cessation. This is the Noble Truth of the Path. This is called the first recitation. This is the Noble Truth of Suffering, which should be fully understood. This is the Noble Truth of Origin, which should be permanently abandoned. This is the Noble Truth of Cessation, which should be realized. This is the Noble Truth of the Path, which should be cultivated. This is called the second recitation. This is the Noble Truth of Suffering, which has been fully understood. This is the Noble Truth of Origin, which has been permanently abandoned. This is the Noble Truth of Cessation, which has been realized. This is the Noble Truth of the Path, which has been fully cultivated. This is called the third recitation, which shows the three recitations. This is knowing suffering. Knowing the origin. Knowing cessation. Knowing the path. Just as the Truth of Suffering has three recitations, so too does the Truth of Origin, and so too does the Truth of Cessation, and so too does the Truth of the Path, which also has the knowledge of three recitations, so it is said. From there, the nature of the twelve aspects is shown, as it is said. In the treatise *Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra*, it is also mostly taught in accordance with this. The difference is that in the treatise on the turning of the wheel of Dharma, there is no distinction made between eye, consciousness, intelligence, and wisdom, but in the path of Yoga practice, eye, consciousness, intelligence, and wisdom are based on the objects of the three times, and the differences between the general and the specific are shown. When showing the nature of reality, it is as previously explained. In the fourth section of the Vinaya, it is said that because of the third recitation, the Dharma eye of Kauṇḍinya and others is completely purified. Because it is not said that the fruit of Arhatship is attained, one should thoroughly examine other categories of Dharma. In detail, it is shown in the treatises *Mahāvibhāṣā*, *Showing Various Minds*, *Abhidharmakośa*, and those that accord with correct reasoning, and so on.
