Being completely deceived by the evil demons, they will not develop faith in the profound Dharma. Furthermore, O son of good family, there are four causes and conditions that lead people to slander the profound Dharma: being deceived by unwholesome friends; not diligently practicing virtuous Dharma; being discontented and delighting in finding fault with others; and praising oneself while denigrating others out of jealousy. Because they possess these causes and conditions, those ignorant individuals slander the profound Dharma, thereby creating extremely heavy and immeasurable karma. Thus it is said. Moreover, in the same sutra and in the commentary on the Great Chapter of the Perfection of Wisdom, it is also said that the causes for slandering the Dharma arise in accordance with what is taught here. Therefore, one will experience great poverty and be touched by great karmic obscurations. This is the second, showing the fault of not having faith. Due to slandering the Dharma as described above, one will experience great poverty and be touched by great karmic obscurations. Therefore, I say that those who regard all characteristics as without characteristics and present what is not meaningful as meaningful, and so on, indicate the second, the general conclusion. This is also of two types: the conclusion of the first examination and the conclusion of the second examination. This is the first: Thus, because of the attachment arising from hearing the Dharma from others, the characteristics of the three natures spoken of by the Bhagavan himself are shown to be without characteristics, and presenting what is not meaningful as meaningful is manifestly established as wrong view. It is said to be a method for generating great karmic obscurations, because it deceives countless beings and leads to the attainment of great karmic obscurations. This is the conclusion of the second examination, which merely coincides with the terminology of the sutra itself. Alternatively, there are two types of attachment to the literal meaning: a broad explanation of attachment to the literal meaning, and from "Therefore" onwards is the general conclusion.

o. Thus, there are two ways of explaining it, but the latter explanation is better. Son of lineage, those sentient beings who have not generated roots of virtue, have not completely purified obscurations, whose continuum has not fully matured, have not accumulated the accumulations of merit and wisdom, are not upright, nor are they of an upright nature, although they possess the power to dispel conceptualizations, but because they abide in holding their own views as supreme, therefore, from "abiding in holding their own views" onwards, it is the fourth chapter, and the five things are also completely absent, and it also proclaims the person who extremely believes in abiding in their own views. This also has three aspects, namely, proclaiming the absence of the five things, and extremely proclaiming disbelief, and proclaiming the faults of slander, this is the first. This sutra's words are also proclaimed in two ways, namely, proclaiming the absence of the five things, and proclaiming the distinctions of the three things, this sutra itself is sufficient to express it. After hearing that Dharma, they will not be able to understand well the profound Dharma that I have realized and proclaimed as it is, and they will not develop faith in that Dharma, etc., this is the second, extremely proclaiming disbelief. This also has five categories, namely, even hearing the sutras will not generate faith, and the arising of two perceptions, and the arising of two attachments, and with that basis, wrong views will arise, and taking slander itself as truth. This is the first, namely, because of abiding in holding one's own views as supreme, therefore, even if one hears the teachings proclaimed by the Tathagata, one will not generate faith. Regarding that Dharma, generating the perception of non-Dharma, and regarding meaning, generating the perception of non-meaning, this is the second, proclaiming the arising of two perceptions. In this way, because one did not generate faith even after hearing the teachings earlier, therefore, one generated two inverted perceptions regarding Dharma and meaning. Regarding these Dharmas, also clinging to them as non-Dharma, and regarding meaning, also clinging to it as non-meaning, this is the third, proclaiming the arising of two attachments, in this way, due to the power of the previous two perceptions, two attachments arise, this is the concluding statement. Saying this is the Buddha's word
