If explained in conjunction with "existence," all four statements begin by elucidating the very nature of "no self-nature." In the treatise *Abhidharmasamuccaya*, it is explained that all four statements also begin by elucidating the three aspects of "no self-nature," and they should be distinguished as before. The Buddha's intentional speech, in scriptures that require guidance, teaches that "all dharmas are without self-nature" up to "self-nature is nirvana." Those who abide in their own views, because they do not understand the Tathagata's intentional speech, even if they generate great faith, cling to the literal meaning, thinking that "all dharmas are only without self-nature" up to "self-nature is nirvana." Regarding those who cling to the literal meaning, there are different explanations in the scriptures. In the commentary on the *Arya Manjushri Real Name Sutra*, it says, "Wrong views are of three types: destroying the result but not destroying the cause; destroying both cause and result; and thinking that all dharmas do not exist, which is a destructive view; the third is a person with evil views." It should be understood as explained in the extensive commentary on that sutra. In the *Garland Sutra*, it says, "This is the view of non-Buddhists." In the *Abhidharmasamuccaya*, it says, "A Bodhisattva clings to the literal meaning because he does not contemplate the meaning of the Dharma with proper attention." It should be understood as it appears in the extensive commentary on that treatise. In this sutra itself, it only says "certain sentient beings," and does not say "Bodhisattva" or "non-Buddhist." If understood in conjunction with the meaning, it is consistent with the explanation in the *Abhidharmasamuccaya*. The fifth type also does not possess the accumulations of merit and wisdom, but possesses the previous four types of roots of virtue, etc. Therefore, one can obtain the view of seeing all dharmas as "non-existent" and "without characteristics," etc., which shows the fault of the second type of clinging to the literal meaning. This also has two aspects, namely the fault of clinging to the literal meaning.

is also correctly shown, and the answer refuting from "My Dharma" onwards. The first part is also shown in five ways: briefly showing the two faults, showing the nature of the two faults, analysis, extensively explaining, and a general conclusion. This is the first part: Because of clinging as the cause and condition, two views arise towards all phenomena, namely: the view of non-existence and the view of no-self-nature. For these two views, there are also two explanations. Some say that the view of non-existence is the denial of other-powered (གཞན་གྱི་དབང་,paratantra) and the perfectly established (ཡོངས་སུ་གྲུབ་པ་,pariniṣpanna). The view of no-self-nature is the denial that the imputed is non-existent. Some say that the view of non-existence, as stated in the Sutra of the Mirror of Dharma, shows twenty-eight non-correct views, which is the nature of the first view. The view of no-self-nature refers to the three views that follow it, namely: the view of the destruction of imputation, the view of the destruction of complete conceptualization, and the view of the destruction of suchness. Therefore, in the treatise Abhidharma-samuccaya, the sutra itself is explained, in which considering as nature, for example: In the Mahayana sutras, it is said that all phenomena are without self-nature (ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་མེད་པ་,niḥsvabhāva), without birth (སྐྱེ་བ་མེད་པ་,anutpāda), without cessation (འགག་པ་མེད་པ་,aniruddha), primordially peaceful (གཟོད་མ་ནས་ཞི་བ་,ādiśānta), and naturally completely beyond sorrow (རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་,prakṛtiparinirvṛta), etc. After hearing these words, because they do not understand the meaning well, they follow the superficial meaning of the words and develop attachment, thinking: The Blessed One said that all phenomena are without self-nature, without birth, etc. Therefore, clinging to the nature of no-self-nature, etc., is called considering as nature. Just like this, the nature of no-self-nature. When clinging to these, they slander the three natures, thereby creating the state of slandering the three natures, and therefore the three views arise, namely the view of the destruction of imputation, the view of the destruction of complete conceptualization, and the view of the destruction of suchness. It should be understood as shown in the extensive explanation.
