In short, it is explained in accordance with what is taught in the Sutra. For the arising of actions, individual discrimination becomes manifest, and the frequent practice of the signless becomes manifest, therefore the sixth ground is called the Manifest Ground, which is the detailed explanation of the sixth Manifest Ground. Thus, this ground possesses both the meaning of individual discrimination becoming manifest for the arising of actions, and the frequent contemplation of the signless, therefore it is called the Manifest Ground. In the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra (解深密经), it also appears in accordance with what is said in this Sutra. In the Arya-Rajavavadaka Sutra (圣人天王请问经), it is explained as Dharma becoming manifest, therefore in the verses of that Sutra it says: Those individuals in whom the Dharma has become manifest, those kings, can see hundreds of thousands of Buddha-fields. Thus it is said. In the Arya-Suvarṇaprabhāsa-sūtra (圣金光明经), it also appears in accordance with what is said in this Sutra. In the Arya-Dashabhumika Sutra (圣十地经), it is said that the door of unobstructed wisdom becomes manifest, therefore the light of wisdom becomes manifest. In the Avatamsaka Sutra (圣大方广佛华严经), from the explanation of the ten abodes and the Sutra explaining the excellent precepts, it is also explained in meaning in accordance with what is said in the Arya-Dashabhumika Sutra. In the Sutra-alamkara (经庄严论), it is said that because the wisdom of meditating without abiding in samsara and nirvana becomes manifest, it is called the Manifest Ground. In the commentary on the Mahāyānasaṃgraha (大乘集论释), it is said that because it is the place of consciousness arising from interdependence, therefore in order to make manifest the abiding in the Prajñāpāramitā. In the commentary composed by Master Vasubandhu (世亲论师), it says: Thus, this ground abides in the consciousness arising from interdependence, therefore by the power of this consciousness, without discrimination, the abiding in the supreme Prajñāpāramitā becomes manifest, thereby realizing that all dharmas are neither afflicted nor purified in totality, therefore the seventh ground becomes associated with active fabrication, and the eighth ground becomes active fabrication itself. Thus it is said.

Moreover, the commentary by the teacher Asanga also shows this in meaning. In the commentary on the Ten Grounds, it is said that the seven objects appear from difficulty as the path of the Bodhisattvas, so it is said. In the Treatise on the Establishment of Consciousness Only, it also appears in accordance with what is taught in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha. In the commentary on the Holy Prajñāpāramitā, the term "manifest ground" appears. Because the non-conceptual mind is uninterrupted and continuous, it follows for a long time and is associated with the pure ground, therefore the seventh is called the Far-Going Ground. This is a detailed explanation of the seventh Far-Going Ground. In this way, this ground follows the non-conceptual without interruption or cessation, so it is not just a temporary manifestation like the sixth ground, and it is also close to the eighth pure ground, so it is called the Far-Going Ground because it has these two meanings. The Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra and the Ghaṃvyūha Sūtra also show in meaning that they are in accordance with what is said in this Sūtra. In the Manava-rāja-paripṛcchā Sūtra, it is said to be the Ground of Far-Reaching Thought. Therefore, in the verses of that Sūtra, it is said: "Far-reaching thought does not arise, he is the king of the first dhyāna, constantly liberating beings in hundreds of millions of Buddha-fields." In the Holy Suvarṇaprabhāsa Sūtra, it is said that because of the non-conceptual mind that is without outflows and without interruption, and because of the long cultivation of liberation and samādhi, that ground is pure and without obscurations, and without obstacles, therefore it is called the Far-Going Ground. In the Holy Daśabhūmika Sūtra, it is said that the actions of body, speech, and mind are profound, solitary, and without movement, and are also well obtained, and in particular, the effort to seek upwards is not abandoned. Furthermore, in order to benefit sentient beings, the patience for the Dharma becomes pure, therefore it is called the Far-Going Ground. In the Holy Avataṃsaka Sūtra, the Ten Abodes are taught, and the Śīlaskandha Sūtra also in meaning.
