It is said that it can be accomplished. Furthermore, it is said therein that those who have completely purified the eight kinds of all-encompassing birthplaces of form can accomplish the miraculous powers of the noble aspirations and the complete transformation of things. Those who have completely purified the birthplace of all-encompassing consciousness can accomplish freedom from afflictions, knowing according to desire, and individual correct knowledge, etc. It is said that those who have completely purified the birthplace of all-encompassing space can transform whatever they desire into space. Furthermore, it is shown therein that liberation, the birthplace of overcoming, and the birthplace of all-encompassing, etc., can be accomplished by miraculous powers. It is also shown in the Yogācārabhūmi-viniścaya that those three can be accomplished. In the Yogācārabhūmi, the first ones undoubtedly refer only to the first liberation, therefore, in the Yogācārabhūmi, temporarily relying on liberation, and then gradually practicing the birthplace of all-encompassing, it is shown that it can be accomplished. In the true meaning, all three can also accomplish merits, therefore, the explanation shown in the treatise Yogācārabhūmi is one kind, and in this sutra, all three are also shown to accomplish miraculous powers, etc. The difference between those three is also stated in the treatise Mahāvibhāṣā, what is the difference between liberation, overcoming, and the birthplace of all-encompassing? The answer is: there are names and differences, this is liberation, this is the birthplace of overcoming, this is the birthplace of all-encompassing. Furthermore, the small root of virtue is called the birthplace of overcoming, the great root of virtue is called the birthplace of all-encompassing. Furthermore, the small root of virtue is liberation, the great root of virtue is the birthplace of overcoming, and the immeasurable root of virtue is the birthplace of all-encompassing. Furthermore, whatever cause

That is called liberation. What is the fruit is called the birthplace of exhaustion. What belongs to cause and effect is called the birthplace of subjugation. Chapter Fifty-one. Maitreya Bodhisattva again said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, as the Blessed One said, in the realm of nirvana without remainder of aggregates, all feelings will be completely extinguished without exception. Which feelings will be permanently extinguished there?" From here onwards is the eighteenth chapter, showing the door of the extinction of feelings in the realm without remainder. This is also divided into two: asking and showing with an answer. This is the asking. The words of the sutra are also of two kinds: stating the teaching of asking, and asking truthfully. Son of good family, in brief, two kinds of feelings will be completely extinguished without exception. From here onwards is the second, the Tathagata truthfully answers. This is also divided into two: explaining in detail as asked, and from "therefore" onwards showing the general conclusion. The detailed explanation is also divided into two: stating the number and briefly showing the answer, and explaining in detail with examination and answers. This is the first brief answer. What is the second? From "What are the two?" and so on, showing the second, explaining in detail with examination and answers. This is also examination and answer, this is examination. "The knowledge of the place of defilement" and "its fruit, the knowledge of the object" and so on show the detailed explanation. This is also divided into two: truthfully showing the feelings, and from "with remainder" and so on showing the permanent extinction. The first is also divided into two: briefly answering with two kinds of feelings, and explaining separately in order, this is the first. Because the characteristics of the two kinds of feelings are explained differently, some say that the knowledge of the defilement of the place is like this: with outflows and

That which arises dependent on the taste of the earth element, the six faculties. Because the name is obtained from the faculty, it is named as place. Because it follows the bad place of the seeds of the two obscurations, it is called the consciousness of the bad place of the place. Its fruit, called object consciousness, is like this: the six external objects are said to be its fruit because they are born from the power of the six internal faculties. That object consciousness is also said to be its fruit, object consciousness, because it arises focusing on those. In the true meaning, even though the two feelings have not become a distinction of self-nature, they are shown as two kinds of feeling of meaning following the faculties and objects. Some say that the so-called consciousness of the bad place of the place is the experience of the seed. Its fruit, the so-called object consciousness, is the experience of manifest enjoyment. Like this, the seed with outflows is the basis of the present fruit. Or, because it follows the bad place of the seeds of the two obscurations, it is said to be the consciousness of the bad place of the place. The so-called experience of manifest enjoyment is said to be its fruit, object consciousness, because it is born from the experience of the seed. Some say that the so-called consciousness of the bad place of the place is that which relies on the six internal faculties, focusing on the six faculties and objects of the internal continuum, which is the basis of the faculty and the name given to the dharma that follows. Like this, relying on the six faculties, or because it follows the bad place of the seeds of the two obscurations. Its fruit, the so-called object consciousness, is the six external objects, which are the fruit transformed by the power of the six faculties. Therefore, in the treatise *Abhidharmasamuccaya*, it is also said that the six faculties are born because of the power of the eyes and other faculties that are fully enjoyed. In this way, these two feelings rely on the six internal faculties, focusing on the six external objects, and because the name is obtained from the object, its fruit is the object.
