Moreover, since the Vinaya also has the power to subdue sins, it is called "Subduing." It is also called "Prevention," because all three baskets have the effect of preventing sins. The commentary on the Compendium of the Great Vehicle by the scholar Asanga also says: "Or, since all virtuous deeds can prevent sins, it is called 'Subduing.'" The so-called "Well-spoken, well-established" comes from the Yogacarabhumi-sastra: Because it is held together by reason, and because it completely holds special qualities, and because the words and meanings are clear, that is, the sentences are completely complete, it is called "Well-spoken." Because it establishes all the places of learning, it is called "Well-established." The so-called "Dharma and Vinaya" comes from the Yogacarabhumi-sastra: Because the eightfold noble path understands the correct reason, it is called "Dharma." Because it prevents all afflictions, it is called "Vinaya." The so-called "Speaking with extremely pure intention" refers to showing the intention to be able to teach the Dharma. Moreover, the intention of teaching the Dharma, because the respective teachings are different, if combined with the teachings of the scholar Nagarjuna, then there are two kinds of teaching the Dharma: The first is the teaching of the Dharma by the individual connected with samsara, which must necessarily reside in discrimination and observation. The second is the teaching of the Dharma by the Bodhisattva of the Dharmakaya, which shows that it does not reside in discrimination and observation. Therefore, the commentary on the Prajnaparamita says: Furthermore, at that time, the Bodhisattva constantly enters meditation and samadhi, gathers his mind, and because of immobility, discrimination and observation do not arise, however, for all sentient beings in the ten directions, he teaches the Dharma with immeasurable sounds and liberates them, which is called the Paramita of meditation. If it is combined with the Sutra Pitaka, which first thinks with discrimination and observation, and then begins to teach the Dharma afterwards, then when entering meditation and samadhi, because there is no verbal discrimination and observation, there is no cause for teaching the Dharma, why do you enter meditation and samadhi?

Therefore, it is shown that even without conceptualization and analysis, one can teach the Dharma to sentient beings. It is said: Those individuals who are connected with samsara, when they enter into samadhi, first abide in the conceptualization and analysis of speech, and then teach the Dharma. However, the Dharmakaya Bodhisattva is separated from the body of birth and death, and all dharmas abide constantly, as if they have understood the nature of samadhi, therefore the scattered dharmas do not appear. Moreover, the Dharmakaya Bodhisattva has countless emanations and also teaches the Dharma to sentient beings, but there is no conceptualization in the mind. Just as the Vīṇā of the Asuras constantly produces sound from itself, and manifests as desired without others knowing, this is also because there is no scattered mind, no grasping mind, and it arises from the maturation of merit, so sound arises as desired. Similarly, the Dharmakaya Bodhisattva is also like that, in the mind without conceptualization and without scattering, even without the nature of teaching the Dharma, because of the immeasurable merit, meditation, samadhi, and wisdom as cause and condition, therefore from that Dharmakaya Bodhisattva, various kinds of Dharma sounds arise as desired by sentient beings. As it is extensively taught in that very sutra. Because among those who teach the Dharma without conceptualization and analysis, the Tathagata is supreme, therefore it is said to be taught with extremely pure intention. Acharya Near Light says, in accordance with this, even without conceptualization and analysis, one can teach the Dharma from the eighth bhumi onwards. Because he says that conceptualization and analysis are only with defilements, therefore there is no conceptualization and analysis, because among those who teach the Dharma, the Tathagata is supreme, therefore it is said to be taught with extremely pure intention. If it is in accordance with the treatise spoken by Acharya Dharmapala, then the Bodhisattvas below the Vajra-like Samadhi must rely on conceptualization and analysis to teach the Dharma for the purpose of taming sentient beings, just as because they fully understand medicine and disease, so logically speaking, the eighth bhumi and above are with defilements.

Even without conceptualization and analysis, one can teach the Dharma. The Buddha, being perfect in qualities, has no effort and teaches the Dharma without relying on conceptualization and analysis, thus showing. Therefore, in the treatises of the Mind-Only school, those who have perfected their qualities, because they do not fully understand medicine and disease, rely on the subsequent wisdom to teach the Dharma to others, and necessarily rely on conceptualization and analysis. The Buddha has no effort, thus showing, therefore it is said, "Speaking with extremely pure intention." If the Bodhisattvas of the ten grounds rely on conceptualization and analysis to teach the Dharma, then how should one understand and explain what is taught in the Prajnaparamita Sutra? Answer: The views of the authors of the treatises are different, and cannot be interpreted uniformly, because the Prajnaparamita Sutra says, "Both conceptualization and analysis arise," while the noble Maitreya and others say, "Neither arises," and such differences are not only one kind, and cannot be interpreted uniformly. If combined with the treatise spoken by the teacher Dharmakirti, then everything below the seventh ground abides in conceptualization and analysis, while the Vajra-like Samadhi is the fourth Dhyana, because there is no conceptualization and analysis, so it cannot teach the Dharma either. Answer: Although the fourth Dhyana has no conceptualization and analysis, due to the power of the previous lower ground arising conceptualization and analysis, in equanimity, even in the stage of enlightenment, it can teach the Dharma, and even without rising from the cessation Samadhi, it can show various behaviors. If this explanation is combined, then "the well-spoken Dharma" refers to the teachings to be proclaimed. In the Yogacarabhumi-sastra, it is said: The World-Honored One has well spoken the Dharma in four ways, it should be known, the first is to tend towards peace, in order to obtain the realm of Nirvana with remainder; the second is to tend towards Nirvana, that is, without remainder.
