In the immeasurable realms of the world, the distinguishing characteristics of all sentient beings are: whether they are two-legged, four-legged, many-legged, with form, without form, in the five realms, or the four types of birth, etc. What is the thought in the mind? The immeasurable realms of the world are such that Bodhisattvas, in the nature of the immeasurable vessel-worlds of the ten directions, think that this world realm is impure, this is formation, this is destruction, and so on, establishing various shapes and differences. What is the thought in the mind? The immeasurable realm of Dharma is such that Bodhisattvas, in the self-characteristics and common characteristics of all dharmas of the immeasurable realms of the world in the ten directions, think that this is visible with form, this is invisible without form, and so on. What is the thought in the mind? The immeasurable beings to be tamed are such that Bodhisattvas, in the various behaviors and various dispositions of sentient beings in the immeasurable realms of the world in the ten directions, those of the Hearer lineage, those of the Solitary Realizer lineage, those of the Tathagata lineage, inferior faculties, middling faculties, superior faculties, etc., as well as the differences of superiority and inferiority, etc. What is the thought in the mind? The immeasurable methods of taming are such that Bodhisattvas, in the immeasurable realms of the world in the ten directions, regarding the methods of taming sentient beings, think that this will be tamed by the cause of teaching the secret Dharma, this will be tamed by the cause of embracing, this will be tamed by the cause of the method of reprimanding, and so on. What is the thought in the mind? It is said in the sutra that the details have been explained in that very sutra. The extensive distinctions will be known from the sutra below. Son of the lineage, through these three meanings, one should also know that all meanings have been summarized. This is the third meaning, the conclusion of the explanation of the three meanings, it is merely a connecting word. Chapter Forty-Four. Bodhisattva Maitreya again addressed the Bhagavan thus: "Lord, what is the wisdom born of hearing that truly knows each meaning? And what is the wisdom born of thinking that truly knows each meaning

What is correct knowledge? And what is the difference between the wisdom arising from the practice of tranquility and insight, and the correct knowledge of individual things? From here onwards is the second part, which shows the correct knowledge of individual things through the three wisdoms. Another way of explaining it is that previously, the correct knowledge of Dharma and things was divided into two types: starting from fully understanding what should be understood, to show the correct knowledge of Dharma and things; and starting from full understanding, to show the correct knowledge of Dharma and things. Before that, it was starting from fully understanding what should be understood, to show the correct knowledge of Dharma and things. From here onwards, it is starting from full understanding and so on, to show the correct knowledge of Dharma and things. This can also be divided into two types: showing the difference of correct knowledge of individual things through the three wisdoms, and showing the difference through the two types of knowledge and vision. The first one is also divided into two types: asking and answering. This is the first one. This sutra passage is also shown in two ways. The asking includes showing the place and accurately showing the words of the asking itself. This sutra itself is sufficient to express it. The Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Maitreya: Son of good family, the wisdom arising from hearing abides in words and phrases, is just like the sound, is not yet skilled in understanding the meaning, is not manifest, is in accordance with liberation, but is not yet able to truly understand the individual things that are accomplished by liberation. From here onwards is the second part, where the Tathagata truthfully answers. This is also divided into two types: detailed explanation and conclusion. In the detailed explanation, it is again divided into three types from the showing of the three wisdoms themselves. This is the first one, showing the wisdom of hearing. Generally speaking, starting from six aspects, to show the distinguishing characteristics of the three wisdoms, here it is showing the difference of the six aspects of the wisdom of hearing. First, abiding in words and phrases, this is because the wisdom of hearing arises from the power of words and phrases.
