Alternatively, it is said that the three turnings are so-called because of individually contemplating the five aggregates three times each. The first is individually contemplating the truth of origination as it is experienced. The second is individually contemplating the truth of suffering as a fault. The third is individually contemplating the truth of the path and cessation as it is determined to arise. Or, it is said that the three turnings are so-called because of demonstrating characteristics, urging practice, and the cycle of contemplation. The fruit of complete knowledge is as follows: from "from this world together with the gods" to "from liberation from among gods and humans, up to complete liberation." That complete knowledge is as follows: "knowing that I myself have manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment" is what is to be taught. Furthermore, sons of good family, those bodhisattvas are called "correctly and individually understanding the meaning" because of correctly and individually understanding the four meanings. From here on, the third part begins with the four meanings and demonstrates the explanation of correctly and individually understanding the meaning. This can also be divided into three parts: briefly stating, explaining in detail, and concluding. This is the first. "What are the four meanings?" and so on, is the second part, explaining in detail. This is shown through questions and answers, and this is the first. "The meaning of the mind's taking, the meaning of experiencing, the meaning of distinguishing, and the meaning of complete defilement and complete purification" and so on, is the second part, correctly answering. There are two explanations for these four meanings. Some say that "the meaning of the mind's taking" is like knowing that the mind takes an object itself. "The meaning of experiencing" is like the meaning of experiencing through the three feelings. "The meaning of distinguishing" is like knowing the meaning of individually knowing the respective objects of the consciousnesses. "The meaning of complete defilement and complete purification" is like the complete defilement and complete

That is the wisdom of knowing awareness. Some say that these four are, in order, the four objects to be aimed at by the four mindfulnesses, namely: body, feeling, mind, and the wisdom of knowing dharma. Among them, the so-called "taking of the mind" is said to be the taker, showing the body to be taken. Son of the lineage, know that these four meanings also encompass all meanings, know that this is the third conclusion. Furthermore, son of the lineage, those Bodhisattvas are called those who correctly know each meaning because they correctly know the three meanings, from here onwards is the fourth part, starting from the three meanings, explaining the explanation of correctly knowing each meaning. This is also divided into three: a general indication, a listing of names, and a separate explanation, this is the first. What are the three meanings? They are the meaning of words and the meaning of the realm (Sanskrit: dhātu), this is the second, listing the names through questions and answers. Son of the lineage, among them, the meaning of words is like this: a collection of words, and so on. From here onwards is the third, showing the separate explanation. This is also divided into three because it indicates the three meanings themselves, this is the first. Among them, the meaning of words is like this: a collection of words, a collection of sentences, and a collection of letters, all three of which have a clear meaning, so they are called collections. Or, a collection refers to the meaning of the essence, like this, all three of them have an essence, so they are called collections. The meaning shown by these three is called words. This word itself is the meaning to be expressed, therefore it is called the meaning of words. Know that there are ten kinds of meanings of meaning, from here onwards is the second, the explanation of the meaning of meaning. This is also divided into two: a general indication and a listing of names according to number. This is the first, it is the meaning of the meaning of the words indicated earlier. From "That is its characteristic" onwards is the second, the number
