Whatever is unrelated is called unconditioned. In the "Treatise of Holding a Precious Garland," it says: "Because it manifestly achieves from the aggregation of many causes and conditions, and possesses manifest conditioned nature, it is called conditioned. Because it is not made, it is called unconditioned, and relying on the cessation of conditioned, is the meaning of unconditioned." In the commentary on the Diamond Sutra by Master Asanga, it says: "Unconditioned means non-conceptualization." Therefore, conditioned is with conceptualization. Furthermore, in the "Compendium of Abhidharma," it says: "Whatever has appearance of arising, ceasing, abiding, and changing, that is called conditioned. Whatever has no arising, ceasing, abiding, and changing, that is called unconditioned." Furthermore, in the "Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra," it says: "That which is called unconditioned is like this: it includes arising and ceasing, and the explanation of causes and conditions. The opposite of that should be understood as unconditioned." Furthermore, in the commentary on the Prajñāpāramitā, it says: "Whatever exists as an object is called conditioned. Whatever does not exist as an object is unconditioned." The commentary on the Diamond Sutra by Master Guṇaśrī also says the same. Furthermore, in the commentary on the Prajñāpāramitā, it says: "Whatever grasps at characteristics is conditioned. Whatever does not grasp at characteristics is unconditioned." The extensive differentiation should be understood as taught in other treatises. Here, there are three different explanations of conditioned and unconditioned. Some say that all the conceptualizations explained here are called conditioned and unconditioned. Therefore, the sutra below says, thinking like this, regarding the appearance of conditioned and unconditioned, thinking that this exists, and firmly grasping onto it as they have seen and heard, and clinging to it, then naming it. Some distinguish conditioned and unconditioned by relying on the nature of other-dependence.

O! The sutra below says that whatever appears as conditioned and unconditioned, although it does not exist, the characteristic of the appearance arising from conceptualization does exist. Some say that the conditioned is the nature of other-power, and the unconditioned is the nature of perfect completion. Although there are three such explanations, the third is the correct meaning. Why is that? Because here, in reality, for the two dharmas of the conditioned, which is the nature of other-power, and the unconditioned, which is the nature of perfect completion, for the nature without manifest clinging, it is shown as conditioned and unconditioned. What is called non-duality will be explained separately below. Among them, the conditioned is neither conditioned nor unconditioned. The unconditioned is neither unconditioned nor conditioned. This indicates the second, which is the explanation of the nature of non-duality. This itself is the characteristic of being inexpressible from five aspects and the characteristic of non-duality. Why is that? Because the conditioned and the unconditioned are inexpressible, and they are also not the characteristics of the two aspects of conditioned and unconditioned. The explanation of the words of the sutra also differs individually. In the sutra that explains the words definitively, it says that the made is neither made nor unmade. In the commentary of the teacher of true reality, it says that from here on, two words eliminate the conditioned dharma, and two words eliminate the unconditioned. Among them, what is called "that" is the conditioned dharma. Like this, the conditioned dharma is not made by accumulating causes and conditions, so it is called "made." What is called "unmade" is the unconditioned dharma. Like this, the unconditioned dharma exists by its own nature and is permanent, It is not made by accumulating causes and conditions, so it is called "unmade." Here, previously, relying on three meanings, the conditioned is eliminated. The first is the consciousness of the jewel, because it is conceptualization, it becomes something made. What is made does not actually exist, it is just conceptualization. That which is grasped
