It is because of the transformation from wisdom. The second is to show that reality and both exist, saying that one's own essence and image are also produced by the power of the Tathagata's speech. If you want to know that relying on reality and both, there is your own essence and image, then how should you know it? The teacher Asanga said in the commentary on the *Mahāyānasaṃgraha*: 'Like this, the listener's consciousness is accumulated and completely separated, that is the self-nature of what is explained.' It is said like that. The teacher Dharmapāla does not regard that treatise as valid, so there should be no dispute. Moreover, the teacher Asanga also shows that he is in agreement with the teacher Dharmapāla, like this, the teacher Asanga has the three bodies of skillful means, has the qualities of form and sound, and also practices teaching the Dharma.' It is thought like that, therefore it is said in that commentary: 'The enjoyment body and the emanation are the differences of subsequent wisdom.' If that is the case, why is it said that the listener's consciousness, etc., is completely separated, that is the self-nature of what is explained? But it is not shown what is the form, etc., that appears in the consciousness of the seer, that is the emanation body. Because they are shown briefly to each other, in the true sense, as the teacher Dharmapāla said, both the body and the teaching have their own essence and image, it must be shown like this. If the body is also an image, why is the body of the image of the seer's consciousness not shown? It is not necessarily allowed to do so, because it has nothing to do with the dispute. In addition, because the teaching produces wisdom, the nature of the listener's consciousness is close to producing wisdom, so the essence of the Buddha arises from the body, so it is temporarily said to be form and mind, etc. Is the self-nature of what is explained, which is transformed from the listener's consciousness, defiled or undefiled? The three pitakas say that there are two kinds of people in India, and this is shown. Some people say: 'Whatever undefiled mind is transformed'

Whatever exists is necessarily without outflows. The transformation of mind with outflows is of two types. In the true sense, it is called having outflows, because the mind itself with outflows transforms into an object. If one considers the ultimate meaning arising from the realm of phenomena, it is called without outflows. The treatises by the scholar Asanga also mostly rely on this for explanation. Some say that the transformation of mind with outflows is necessarily with outflows. The transformation from mind without outflows is necessarily solely without outflows. Although there are two such explanations, the scholars Xuanzang and Dharmapala prefer the latter explanation. Therefore, in the treatises established as only consciousness, it is said that the characteristics of view are necessarily the same for both with outflows and without outflows, but the characteristics of consciousness such as virtue are not necessarily the same, because they are produced by being led by the causes and conditions of the three natures. If that which has outflows transforms into the correct teaching, will that which has outflows become manifest from that correct treatise? Or if that which is without outflows transforms into the reversed teaching, will that which is without outflows become manifest from that reversed teaching? If it is said in that way, there is no fault, because it is transformed by that which is without outflows. Since the teachings have the distinction of being reversed and correct, are all called with outflows and without outflows? Or because beings have the distinction of ordinary beings and noble ones, are all considered noble and non-noble? If it is taught in that way, there is no fault, because the transformed minds can become two. Among them, the distinction of teaching the Dharma is also of two types: teaching based on the three bodies and teaching based on the realms. Starting from teaching based on the three bodies, the question is asked, based on which body do you teach the Dharma? The Sarvastivada school believes that the Buddha has two

It is like this. The first is the Buddha who is born, such as the contaminated body born from parents. The second is the Dharmakaya Buddha, such as the Dharmakaya with five perfections. The body born from the two bodies teaches the Dharma, but not the Dharmakaya, because it does not teach the Dharma in the state of Samadhi. Or, according to the Sutra School's treatises, there are two bodies, and both of them engage in teaching the Dharma. Their treatises argue that the uncontaminated body can also manifest sound, thus creating the scriptures of the noble ones. Here, if combined with the Mahayana treatises, there are three bodies, and the act of teaching or not teaching the Dharma is also divided into four possibilities. Among them, the first is that one teaches and two do not teach. For example, the Dharmakaya is the object of inner realization. Therefore, the commentary on the Vajra Cutter Sutra of the Prajnaparamita says: "The Enjoyment and Emanation Bodies are not the true Buddha, Likewise, teaching the Dharma is also not." Therefore, it should be known that the two bodies do not teach the Dharma. The second is that two teach and one does not teach. Because the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya have speech, while the Dharmakaya of Suchness is devoid of the nature of words. The third is that all three teach the Dharma. As it is said in the ten-volume edition of the Holy Lankavatara Sutra: "Among them, the Dharmakaya Buddha teaches the Dharma because the inner self-awareness is the object of the noble ones. The Sambhogakaya Buddha teaches the Dharma because it teaches the equality of the self-nature of all dharmas. The Nirmanakaya teaches the Dharma because it teaches the six perfections and so on." From here to the extensively explained part. The four-volume edition of the Holy Lankavatara Sutra also mostly agrees with this. The fourth is that none of the three teach the Dharma. Why is that? Because the Dharmakaya of Suchness does not have speech, and the Sambhogakaya
