Having been liberated from that realm, it is said in the sutra that in the future, benefit and happiness will always be near to all sentient beings as is appropriate. The teacher Near Light also explained something similar to this. From the extremely pure realm of dharma, true wisdom arises. By the power of true wisdom, subsequent realized wisdom arises. By the power of subsequent realized wisdom, great compassion arises. By the power of great compassion, the twelve branches of scripture, such as the sutras, will be spoken. Because this realm of dharma is eternally abiding, therefore benefiting will be near in the future. Furthermore, in the commentary by the teacher Near Light, it says: This shows the characteristics of the Bhagavan having attained the fruit, and the particularly excellent qualities. Thus, the extremely pure realm of dharma is attained. That realm of dharma is the fruit of cultivating the path. The phrase "reaching the limit of the realm of space" indicates the twentieth quality, which is the quality of being inexhaustible. In the commentary by the teacher Vasubandhu, it says: Thus, the wisdom of the Tathagata is inexhaustible, because it is like space. In the commentary by the teacher Asanga, it says: Just as space is without limit, without end, inexhaustible, without decrease, without birth, without cessation, without change, and distinguishes all material things at all times, so too, the Dharmakaya has the nature of constantly bringing benefit and happiness to all sentient beings, and as long as the realm of sentient beings exists, the activity of benefiting all beings will never cease. The details are as explained in that very text. The phrase "reaching the end of the final limit" indicates the twenty-first quality, which is the quality of having reached the end. In the commentary by the teacher Vasubandhu, it says: The knowledge of the Tathagata reaches the end of the final limit, without interruption. In the commentary by the teacher Asanga, it says: These qualities are constantly uninterrupted until the final limit. The final limit of

The term "exhaustion" indicates that the Tathagata's merits are inexhaustible. This is because the sentient beings to be tamed are eternally inexhaustible. The commentary by the teacher Near Light combines the latter two explanations into one. Therefore, the commentary itself states: This shows the extraordinary merit of the Bhagavan's appearance because of his lack of exhaustion. For example, just as the sky is always eternally inexhaustible, so too are the merits arising from the realm of the Buddhas, because they are eternally inexhaustible. Just as there is no time when the end of the future is exhausted, so too is the activity of benefiting all sentient beings never interrupted. Furthermore, the commentary by the teacher Near Light states: This shows the extraordinary merit of the Bhagavan's two kinds of merits of benefiting self and others being inexhaustible. For example, just as the sky is eternally inexhaustible in its essence during the destruction and formation of kalpas, so too are all the true merits of the Tathagata eternally inexhaustible. Just as there is no exhaustion of the future, so too are the merits of benefiting others, so that until the exhaustion of the future, they constantly benefit all sentient beings and create objects of happiness. In the three different commentaries on the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, the merits explained are mostly similar in meaning. The above is explained in conjunction with the commentaries of the teacher Vasubandhu, Asvabhāva, and the Buddhbhūmi. Those who wish to explain can freely accept or reject them. Eighth fascicle. The phrase "that great Śrāvaka assembly is immeasurable," and so on, refers to the fifth, the explanation of the assembly that listens to the scriptures, which is the sixth of the six perfections, the perfection of the assembly. This is also divided into two: the explanation of the Śrāvaka assembly and the explanation of the Bodhisattva assembly. These two kinds of assemblies are first distinguished by four methods, and then the meaning of the words will be explained. Regarding this,
