It is also called Ra-dab. It is also called Bya-dab-bzangs. Because that bird's wings have various precious decorations, it is not necessarily pure gold. In the Avatamsaka Sutra, it is said that the Dharma body golden-winged bird has the feet of the four close placements of mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, and the eye of completely pure wisdom, and abides on the tree of omniscient wisdom. The golden-winged Bodhisattva scoops up gods and human dragons from the great ocean of samsara with his hands and places them on the shore of nirvana. This is called the Dharma gate of the golden-winged bird of non-retrogressive samadhi. Other sutras say that there are three hundred thirty-six million yojanas between the two wings, and Jambudvipa cannot even accommodate one of its feet. There is a wish-fulfilling jewel next to it, so it is also called wish-fulfilling. Some also say that it is the king of birds, and the golden-winged bird among birds specializes in eating dragons, which also varies according to the four types of birth. Among them, the spontaneously born can eat four types of dragons. The womb-born can eat three types of dragons, except for the spontaneously born. The egg-born can eat two types of dragons, except for the spontaneously born and the womb-born. The moisture-born can only eat the moisture-born. In these four continents, there is a spontaneously born golden-winged bird king named Correct Wonderful Sound, who can live for eight thousand years and can eat one great dragon king and five hundred small dragons every day. It gradually eats all over the four continents. At the time of death, it grabs the dragons but cannot swallow them. Burned by the pain of hunger, the power of its wings causes it to descend until it touches the wind wheel, and after being blown up by the wind, it rises again. After going up and down seven times, it cannot even find a place to put its feet. Then it flies to the top of Mount Vajra Wheel and ends its life there.
