Or it is the image of the mind's temporary state, which is called non-associated formations. This is said from the perspective of the Mind-Only school. Why do the two treatises disagree on the issue of existence and non-existence? The teacher Nagarjuna explained emptiness of phenomena and refuted the views of non-Buddhists and others who believe that number, time, and matter exist substantially, so he said that there is no inherent existence. But the noble Maitreya explained the reason of the characteristics of the Mahayana Dharma, so he separately established non-associated formations. In addition, the teacher Nagarjuna summarized seven hundred non-associated formations within the five dharmas, as stated in the commentary on the Prajnaparamita: "The five dharmas such as mind." In the explanation of the Ten Bhumis Sutra, in order to establish seven hundred non-associated formations, why is it not explained that this sutra was spoken at the time when the first sun rises, or at noon? Because the abodes and so on are taught in different special places, but in this sutra only "at one time" is said. The commentary on the Buddhabhumi Sutra says that because the places of day and night and hours are uncertain, it cannot be taught elsewhere. Fifth fascicle. The term "Bhagavan" indicates the third of the five meanings, namely the master of serving and proclaiming. Combining with the commentary on the Prajnaparamita, there are five kinds of people who expound the Buddha's teachings. Therefore, it is said in that treatise that there are five ways of expounding the Dharma: the Buddha himself expounds, the disciples expound, the hermits expound, the gods expound, and the emanations expound. In order to list the other four ways, the term "Bhagavan" is used. This sutra initially only explains the profound meaning of the Bodhisattva's intention, and also proclaims the meaning of non-duality. Why is only "Bhagavan" said? Because there are three meanings: in order to make the few include the many, in order to speak of the most excellent, and in order to

It is because of the blessings. There are also four different ways of mentioning names at the beginning of the sutras. Some mention only "Buddha," such as the Mahaparinirvana Sutra and others. Some mention only "Bhagavan," such as the Mahavastu and others. Some mention both names, "Buddha Bhagavan," such as the Anuttarapadarthanirdesa Sutra and others. Some also mention both, such as the Samyuktaratnavali Sutra and the Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita and others. Thus, the versions of the sutras differ, and the reason why the Samyuktaratnavali does not mention the name is because it is the last two chapters in a section. The reason why the Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita does not mention the name is because it was abridged by the abridgers from the extensive version. The other three explanations are the three explanations given by the Indian masters. The first of these is that the teacher, Yandakden, explained it in two ways from the memorandum of the seven topics. The first is that in explaining the treatise itself, it says, "The Buddha has ten meanings, so at the beginning of the sutras, only the name 'Buddha' is chosen from the ten names." Therefore, it is said in the memorandum of the seven topics that the great teacher has ten names, but why are the other nine names not mentioned in the sutras, but only "Buddha"? This is because, of the ten meanings, what makes him awaken is superior to the heavenly drum, not realized by others, free from two kinds of ignorance, completely beyond duality, like a lotus, without attachment to self-nature, complete with three meanings, possessing three qualities, possessing the essence of the Three Jewels, understanding oneself and also enabling others to understand. Broadly speaking, the second is that the teacher Yandakden divided the Madhyamika reasoning into four types, and at the beginning of all the sutras there are two names.
