Why is it said that all dharmas are unborn, unceasing, primordially peaceful, and naturally completely liberated from suffering? It is like showing that it is said from the perspective of the absence of inherent nature of characteristics. In some scriptures, it is taught that all dharmas are without inherent nature based on the three aspects of no inherent nature, and it is also taught that unbornness and so on are based on the first and last two aspects, as shown in this sutra and the "Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra." In some scriptures, starting from the three aspects of no inherent nature, it is also taught that all dharmas are without inherent nature, unborn, and so on, as stated in the treatise "Abhidharmasamuccaya": "Among them, what is called all dharmas are these three aspects of inherent nature, namely, the completely imputed inherent nature, the other-dependent inherent nature, and the thoroughly established inherent nature. The completely imputed inherent nature is definitely its own characteristic, and because it does not have its own characteristic, it is called the characteristic of no inherent nature, and because it is the characteristic of no inherent nature, it is called no inherent nature. The other-dependent inherent nature is not self-produced because it depends on many conditions, and because it does not have the inherent nature of self-production, it is called the unborn inherent nature, and because it is the unborn inherent nature, it is called no inherent nature. The thoroughly established inherent nature is the object of complete purification, and because it does not have the characteristic of complete imputation on the other-dependent, it is the nature of complete separation, so it is the ultimate inherent nature. Furthermore, because it is completely separated by no inherent nature, it is called the ultimate no inherent nature, and because it is the ultimate no inherent nature, it is called no inherent nature. Therefore, the Tathāgata said that all dharmas are without inherent nature, but it is not that the appearance of the names of all kinds is completely absent that is called no inherent nature, as shown in this way. Furthermore, in the same treatise, it is said that all dharmas are unborn, unceasing, primordially peaceful, and naturally completely liberated from suffering.
