It is the concluding words of "unborn" and so on. "Why is that?" is the second, the questioning back by the outsiders. Whatever dharma is without its own characteristic, that is unborn. Whatever is unborn, that is unceasing. Whatever is unborn and unceasing, that is originally peaceful. Whatever is originally peaceful, that is naturally completely nirvana, because there is nothing to be completely nirvana in it, this is the third, detailed explanation. This sutra's words are also divided into four parts: detailed explanation of unborn, detailed explanation of unceasing, detailed explanation of originally peaceful, and detailed explanation of naturally completely nirvana. Because it has been mentioned in this very sutra, it is not explained in detail here. Therefore, I, having understood from the emptiness of characteristics, all dharmas are unborn, unceasing, originally peaceful, and naturally completely nirvana, this is the fourth, conclusion, it is only to correspond. Son of good family, having understood from the ultimate truth of emptiness, which is completely separated by the selflessness of all dharmas, all dharmas are unborn, unceasing, originally peaceful, and naturally completely nirvana, from this below is the second, starting from the ultimate truth of emptiness, it shows the detailed explanation of the words of unborn and so on. This is also shown in four ways: summary, questioning, detailed explanation, and conclusion. This is the first, thus the perfectly accomplished ultimate truth has four meanings: unborn, unceasing, originally peaceful, and naturally completely nirvana. Therefore, in the sutras, starting from the perfectly accomplished ultimate truth of emptiness, unborn and so on are spoken, this is the concluding words. "Why is that?" is the second, the questioning by the outsiders. The outsiders say this: even if it is explained with the four ultimate truths, but still do not understand, what is its cause?

For the sake of... there is no birth, etc., thus examining. The ultimate truth of no self-nature, which is completely distinguished by the absence of self in phenomena, is the constant, constant time, the steadfast, steadfast time, abiding as the dharma-nature of all phenomena, and is unconditioned. Because it is not associated with all defilements, etc., this is the third, which is truly explained. This is also shown by dividing it into two ways. First, the three causes are briefly stated, and then the answer to the question of examination is given, followed by repeating the three causes, and then explaining in detail the unborn, etc. This is the first. This sutra passage is also shown by dividing it into two ways. The first is to show the nature of the ultimate truth of no self-nature, which also has two aspects, namely, other-powered and perfectly established nature. Here, the latter is taken, not the former. The second, "constant, constant time," etc., truly shows the three causes. The first is the constant, constant time, the steadfast, steadfast time, because it abides as the dharma-nature of all phenomena, it is unconditioned. The second is because it is unconditioned, there is no birth and no cessation. This is because of abiding, and because of the unconditioned, the two meanings of no birth and no cessation are manifestly established. Because it is not associated with all defilements, this is from the third cause, showing that the two meanings of originally peaceful, as stated in the sutras, and naturally nirvana, are separately established. Constant, constant time, steadfast, steadfast time, because it abides as the dharma-nature of all phenomena, it is unconditioned. Because it is unconditioned, there is no birth and no cessation, etc., this shows the second, which is repeating the three causes, and then explaining in detail the unborn, etc. This also shows two ways, namely, explaining the unborn, etc., with two causes, and explaining originally peaceful and naturally nirvana with the cause of not being associated with all defilements. This is...
