It is said thus. Furthermore, from that very nature, it abides manifestly in the realm of reality. At that time, that Bodhisattva, because the object to be focused on and the act of focusing are equal, the non-conceptual wisdom of equality arises. Therefore, this Bodhisattva has entered into the nature of perfect accomplishment. It is said thus. If combined with this explanation, then the meditation on perfect accomplishment exists for those who abide on the ground. Therefore, in the verses established in the Treatise on Mere Consciousness, it is taught: When one does not perceive objects with consciousness, at that time, one abides in mere consciousness, because of being separated from the characteristics of the two graspings. It is taught thus. Thus, the Bodhisattvas such as Guna-karaṇa, in order to fully understand the characteristics of the completely imputed nature, the dependent nature, and the perfectly established nature as they are, therefore, the characteristics of the signless dharma, the characteristics of the defiled dharma, and the characteristics of the purified dharma are fully understood as they are. From "fully understood" onwards, it is the repetition of the door of the yoga practice of the second previous one, showing that it is declared as the answer to the two previous questions. This also has two aspects: repeating and showing the door of yoga, and from "only this much" onwards, correctly showing the answer to the two questions. The first also has two aspects: repeating and showing that by knowing the three natures, one knows the three characteristics, and repeating and explaining that by knowing the three characteristics, one abandons all defilements and attains purification. This is the first, which is the repetition of knowing the three characteristics by knowing the three natures, and should be understood as before. Because of fully understanding the signless dharma as it is, all the characteristics of the defiled dharma will be completely abandoned. Because of completely abandoning all the characteristics of the defiled dharma, all the characteristics of the purified dharma will be attained. "Because of" etc. is the second, which is the repetition and explanation of abandoning all defilements and attaining purification by knowing the three characteristics. This

In order to truly understand the meaning of the absence of characteristics of the completely imputed nature, by gradually realizing the perfectly established nature from lower to higher levels, one becomes completely purified and attains the peace of Nirvana. Alternatively, in order to comprehend the suchness of the absence of characteristics of the completely imputed nature, if one does not abandon all afflictions, one will not attain the fruit of Nirvana. Only in this way is one called a Bodhisattva who is skilled in the characteristics of the Dharma. The Tathagata also only in this way designates them as Bodhisattvas who are skilled in the characteristics of all Dharmas. This is called the second, relying on the door of yoga to inquire, and the previous two ways to correctly answer. Thus, the Bhagavan, starting from the Bodhisattvas who thoroughly know the three natures as mentioned above, teaches them as skilled Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the Tathagatas, starting from these skilled Bodhisattvas, are called skilled Bodhisattvas in the Holy Scriptures. The degree of skill of these Bodhisattvas is also different according to different explanations. Some say that all those who abide up to the ten faiths are called skilled. Some say that from the tenth dedication onwards, the ten dedications are called the path of application, relying on that abode, generating the four investigations, in order to truly and completely know as it is. Some say that up to the first ground, in order to obtain the nature of conventional truth in the completely pure suchness. Thereafter, the Bhagavan, in order to truly show that meaning, spoke these verses. From here onwards, it is called the second, briefly showing with verses. This also has two ways, to initiate a topic by showing with verses, and to briefly show after saying the verses, this is the first. If one does not know the Dharma without characteristics, one cannot abandon the Dharma of the characteristics of all afflictions. Because one does not abandon the characteristics of all afflictions, the Dharma of the extremely pure characteristics will decline. Not observing from the faults of the aggregate of formations, the fault of negligence completely destroys beings. Laziness shakes the abiding in the Dharma.
