Therefore, it is called the absence of self-nature. Furthermore, although it does not depend on others, it is not truly without self-nature, as shown. The so-called 'constant constant time, firm firm time' has two explanations. Some say that 'constant constant' is said because it relies on the absence of the former. 'Firm firm' is said because it relies on the absence of the latter. Some say that 'constant constant' is said to show that it is not truly existent. 'Firm firm' is said to show the absence of self-nature. How do these three self-natures and the seven suchnesses mutually encompass each other? It is said that, as stated in the Treatise on the Establishment of Consciousness-Only, how do these three self-natures and the seven suchnesses mutually encompass each other? Among the seven suchnesses, the first suchness of entering is: 'The dharma that conditioned phenomena enter is that very suchness.' Among them, conditioned phenomena are also of two types: the first is called conditioned because it is made by the four characteristics. The second is called conditioned because it is made by afflictions, and this is made by afflictions. Furthermore, the suchness of the nature of that very suchness is: 'The suchness that is distinguished by the nature of selflessness.' The suchness of consciousness-only is: 'The suchness of consciousness-only of the phenomena of pervasive defilement and pervasive purification.' Here, the distinctions of pervasive defilement and pervasive purification are regarded as that nature by contemplating and cultivating consciousness as consciousness-only. Furthermore, the suchness that abides in it is: 'The suchness of suffering.' The suchness of inverted accomplishment is: 'The suchness of arising.' The suchness of pervasive purification is: 'The suchness of cessation.' The suchness of truly accomplishing is: 'The suchness of the path.' These seven suchnesses are encompassed by the perfectly established reality and are the objects of the two wisdoms of the root and subsequent attainment.

Because of this. If summarized according to the order of characteristics, then entering, suffering, and, arising, these three are encompassed by the first two natures, because they are established as impure completely defiled. It is said in the sutra that the remaining four are encompassed by the perfectly established nature. From the "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes" it is also said that if briefly summarizing the difference ultimate truth, there are seven aspects. Namely: the ultimate truth of entering, the ultimate truth of the true characteristic, the ultimate truth of the completely conceptualized, the ultimate truth of existence, the ultimate truth of inverted establishment, the ultimate truth of purity, and the ultimate truth of true establishment. If you want to know how these seven ultimate truths are summarized into the three fundamental ultimate truths, then it is said in the verse: Entering and existence, inverted establishment relies on the first two. Characteristic, completely conceptualized, true establishment relies on the latter. It is said in the sutra like this, therefore, as it is said to be summarized in the treatises "Detailed Explanation" and "Yogacarabhumi", there is no contradiction. Then, how do the three natures and the five things mutually summarize each other? The statements about mutual summarization in the sutras of the noble ones are also uncertain, if combined with the treatise "Yogacarabhumi", then from it, the nature of other-dependence encompasses the cause, name, discrimination, and true wisdom. The nature of perfect establishment encompasses suchness. The completely conceptualized does not encompass any of the five things, it is said like this. From it, whatever appears as the mind with outflows and the mental phenomena arising from the mind, as it is said, is called the cause. Whatever appears as similar speech is established as the name. For the appearing mind and so on, it is established as discrimination. Whatever is the mind without outflows and so on, because it is free from elaboration, everything is called true wisdom, it is said like this. Because it does not show the grasper and the grasped, and it shows that these four are born from conditions, so everything is encompassed by other-dependence. From the "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes" it is said that the nature of other-dependence encompasses the cause.
