It is said that it is the distinction of seeds completely possessed by the severed limb of existence. The teacher Asanga said in the commentary: It appears as the dying and birth of gods, humans, sentient beings in hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. In the extensive aspect, it should be understood as explained in the commentaries made by teachers Vasubandhu and Asanga. These consciousnesses have differences, and again, the teacher Asanga said in the commentary: The mind realm on which the five consciousnesses, such as the eye, depend is called the embodied consciousness. The mind realm on which the mind consciousness depends is called the profound consciousness. The teacher Asanga said in the commentary: The mind realm on which the five consciousnesses, such as the eye, depend is the Alaya consciousness, and it is considered to be called the embodied consciousness. The mind realm on which the mind consciousness depends is the afflicted mind, and it is considered to be called the profound consciousness. The explanation by the teacher Vasubandhu is different from this, so it is said that the afflicted mind is the embodied consciousness. The Alaya consciousness is called the profound consciousness. Why is it said in that commentary: The embodied is like this, that is, the afflicted mind. The profound is like this, that is, the mind realm. Furthermore, there are differences in the number of these consciousnesses. In the different commentaries of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, and in the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi, it is said to be eleven. If it is combined with the Mahāyānasaṃgraha itself, it is not definite. Above it is said to be eleven, and below it is said to be twelve, because the consciousnesses of good and bad destinies, death and birth are divided into two, that is, the consciousnesses of good and bad destinies, and the consciousnesses of death and birth. Therefore, it is said in that very sutra that the results of karma are immeasurable.

It is said that because the number of experiencing death and birth is infinite. The commentator Asanga says in the commentary: There are good destinies and bad destinies, as well as death and birth. By showing the word "return" itself, it should be understood that it becomes twelve. The master Vasubandhu did not make this commentary, so even if it is said to be eleven, there is no contradiction. What is the nature of the perfectly established nature of all dharmas? From this point onwards is the detailed explanation of the third perfectly established nature. This also has two aspects: asking and answering. This is the request. For example, through "the suchness of the equality of all dharmas" and so on, is the second answer. This can also be divided into two aspects: truly showing the nature and showing special abilities. This is the first, for example, it is said above that it is the nature of suchness that has the same taste in everything. If combined with the Madhyāntavibhāga, then the nature of the perfectly established is said to be of two kinds, therefore, from that itself, this perfectly established can also be briefly summarized into two kinds: because there is a difference between the unconditioned and the conditioned. The unconditioned includes suchness and nirvana, because it is unchanging, it is called perfectly established. The conditioned includes the noble path, because there is no reversal of the object, it is called perfectly established. It is said in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha that the perfectly established has four aspects. Therefore, from that itself, how should the nature of the perfectly established be understood? It should be understood that it is shown through the four kinds of purified dharmas. The four kinds of purified dharmas, naturally purified are like this: suchness and emptiness, as well as the true limit, as well as the signless, as well as the ultimate meaning, as well as the realm of dharma. Purified by being free from defilements is like this: being free from all the defilements that obscure it. The purification of the path of obtaining it is like this: all the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, and

The Perfection of Wisdom and so forth. To generate it, the purification of the object is as follows: those taught by the vast and authentic Dharma of the Great Vehicle. Like this, it is the cause of purification, therefore it is not the completely imputed nature. The homogeneous cause of the extremely pure realm of Dharma, therefore it is also not the dependent nature. These four aspects completely encompass all the purified Dharmas. Here, there are two verses: Showing arising, dependence, illusion, etc., showing non-existence based on imputation, based on four purifications, showing the perfectly established. Self-nature and freedom from defilement, pure path and object, all pure Dharmas are encompassed by these four characteristics. Thus it is said. In detail, it should be understood as it appears in the commentaries made by Master Vasubandhu and Asanga. This very sutra begins with the three aspects of Dharma and explains the meaning of the three natures. The "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes" and the "Treatise on the Establishment of Consciousness Only" generally explain the three natures based on the Four Noble Truths. The "Compendium of Abhidharma" generally explains the three natures based on the three aspects of Dharma: aggregates, elements, and sources. The "Noble Perfection of Wisdom Sutra" generally explains the three natures based on all Dharmas. Therefore, in the commentary by Master Asanga, it says: As it is said in the "Perfection of Wisdom Sutra," the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Maitreya: "Whatever is completely imputed to those and those objects of characteristics, from form, feeling, perception, formation, consciousness, up to all the Buddhadharmas, relying on mind, name, and concept, and imputing names, by completely imputing the self-nature of forms, etc., up to the self-nature of all Buddhadharmas, whatever is nominally established, this is called the completely imputed form, up to the completely imputed...
