In the commentary by Vasubandhu, it is said: "Having immeasurable aspects" means: for example, it is the characteristic of the form of all objects of experience. What is called "the conceptualization of consciousness" means: for example, the conceptualization of consciousness is explained as such. What is called "the characteristic of arising perversion" means: for example, it is not true, it is the characteristic of the object to be perceived by perversion. What is called "one's own characteristic is not true" means: its own nature is not true. What is called "merely focusing on conceptualization" means that what is conjectured by erroneous consciousness will only exist. In the commentary by Asanga, it is said: "Having immeasurable aspects" means that self and phenomena appear as various and infinite objects. Some say that it is the cause and condition of other powers, and the self and phenomena. Some say that it is the self and phenomena of complete calculation. What is called "the conceptualization of consciousness" means: for example, the conceptualization of consciousness is explained as such. What is called "the characteristic of arising perversion" means: for example, erroneous consciousness is the cause of the arising of the form of the meaning of grasping and being grasped. Some say: from the form of the meaning of the object of complete calculation, the cause of the arising of inverted erroneous consciousness. Some say that complete calculation is the view of having immeasurable aspects and the characteristics of other freedoms, and the cause of generating reasons. What is called "complete calculation" means: for example, the form of the meaning of complete conceptualization itself is called the nature of complete calculation, and one's own characteristic is not true, but only because of the characteristic of the appearance of the image of complete calculation, it is called complete calculation. In the Treatise on the Establishment of Consciousness Only, it is said: Because of complete conceptualization, the form of the object itself is called complete calculation, because it is not true, relying on complete conceptualization, for all of those aggregates, realms, and sources, etc., it is considered the difference between the nature of Dharma or self.

In general, it is called the nature of what is completely imputed. Regarding what is completely imputed, there are two explanations. Some say that the eight consciousnesses and the mental factors associated with defilements are grasped as their own nature by the non-real completely imputed; and because they appear as grasper and grasped; and because in the Alaya consciousness, the nature of what is completely imputed is a non-real grasping, having seeds and becoming the object, so it is said. This is the meaning explained by the teacher Loden. Others say that the mind aspect of the sixth and seventh consciousnesses grasping self and phenomena is completely imputed, so it is said that only the mental consciousness is completely imputed. This is the treatise explained by the teacher Dharmapala. In the Sutra Unraveling the Profound Meaning, it says the nature of the non-real completely imputed, and the nature of cause and condition, and the nature of ultimate truth. In the treatise translated by the teacher Yangdak Dhenpa, it says the nature of discrimination, and the nature of dependence on others, and the nature of suchness. In the Holy Lankavatara Sutra, it says the non-real nature, and the nature of dependent arising, and the nature of accomplishment, which is because the thoughts of the translators are different. Here, the term 'completely imputed,' if combined with the meaning of grasping, is complete grasping. If it is said 'completely imputed,' it is explained from the perspective of the possessor. If grasping depends on the nature, then it is the explanation of the activity of complete grasping, because grasping itself is the nature. Secondly, regarding 'dependence on others,' in the Compendium of the Great Vehicle it says, if mere consciousness is the nature of dependence on others, the place where things appear, what is it like, and why is it called 'dependence on others'? Because it arises from the seeds of its own habitual tendencies, therefore it is subject to other conditions. Moreover, having arisen, it cannot maintain itself for more than a moment, so it is called 'dependence on others.' The teacher...
