The so-called "only this" is also established by reason. This also refers to the Suchness of the ultimate truth, which is of one taste. In the times of permanence and steadfastness, whether the Tathagata appears in the world or not, the Dharmata of all dharmas abides in the Dharmadhatu, and there is no change or various characteristics. In the Sutra of Definitive Explanation of Words, from the words "steadfast" and "permanent" to the words "Dharmadhatu" and "Dharma-abiding nature" appear. The teacher in the Commentary on Valid Cognition says: "Even in the preliminary stage of the path, it is called steadfast because it exists from the beginning, because it is not something that exists only after the Buddha appears in the world. In the middle and final stages of the path, it is called permanent because this principle of meaning will not be cut off, because even after the Buddha appears in the world, this principle of meaning will not be exhausted. Dharmata means that one's own nature abides in the nature of the Buddha. In the preliminary stage of the path, it serves as the basis for the mind of enlightenment, so sentient beings obtain the generation of the mind by virtue of this. Dharmadhatu means that it guides and produces the nature of the Buddha. In the intermediate stages of the path, the element is the basis of actions, because it guides and produces immeasurable actions. Dharma-abiding nature means that one has attained the stage of Buddhahood. In the final stage of the path, after reaching Nirvana, the nature of Dharma abides permanently." The Sutra says "permanent time of permanence" and "time of steadfastness," which means that the Suchness of one taste has not been unique from the beginning, so it is called permanent time of permanence. It will not be unique in the future, so it is called steadfast time of steadfastness. In such times, the Dharmata of all dharmas abides in the Dharmadhatu. The Dharmata of Dharma abides in the Dharmadhatu, which also has two meanings. If combined with two other examples, it can be divided into three types.

The suchness of all phenomena, and the distinct establishment of the realm of dharma, as well as the establishment of existence itself. In the commentary on the Compendium of the Great Vehicle by Master Asanga, it is explained by dividing it into two, namely, the distinct establishment of the suchness of all phenomena, and the distinct establishment of the realm of dharma. Among them, the so-called establishment of five aspects refers to the distinct establishment of the categories of names. In the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra, it is explained by dividing it into three aspects, namely, suchness, the realm of dharma, and the existence of dharma. Among them, the so-called "establishment of existence" is the existence of dharma. Therefore, in the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra, the principle of dependent origination that has been known since beginningless time is suchness. As it is known, the distinct establishment of the words and letters of the non-inverted principle is the existence of dharma. Since the cause of the existence of dharma is suchness, it is therefore called the realm. In the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra, by mentioning dependent origination, the self-nature of the meaning is explained. Alternatively, that treatise explains that dependent origination has these three words, but it does not explain the self-nature of the meaning. However, there is no difference in the meaning of explaining the three words. Therefore, through skillful reasoning, it should be understood that the ultimate truth is the nature of universal oneness, which is the conclusion of the second part, and is merely a conjunction. Skillful, for example, for various forms that are not of a single aspect but have different characteristics, space is without characteristics, without discrimination, and unchanging, and is the nature of universal oneness. From this point onwards is the second part, which is explained through metaphors. The so-called various forms are not of a single aspect, that is, the form aggregate also has three aspects. The first is the characteristic of the great elements and the cause. The second is the characteristic of distinguishing between three views: visible with resistance, invisible with resistance, and neither visible nor resistant.
