Or, the treatises of the Mahayana have four ways, all of which show that everything can be accomplished. The first is to see the differences in form, just as in one emanation, sentient beings each see different things. The second is to see the differences in form, but the views are the same, just as in one emanation, the Buddhas jointly emanate through emanations, although it can be said to be many, the views are the same. If blue and yellow are distinguished based on form, then it is acceptable for blue and yellow to exist separately, but if the eight consciousnesses are distinguished based on mind, will the eight consciousnesses also become one? Form and sound are coarse dharmas, so differences will be seen in the same form. The dharmas of the mind are subtle and difficult to understand, so it should not be said that they are one. Before this, the teaching of the Dharma with one sound, and the display of the same form but different views, etc., are all secrets of body and speech among the three secrets of the Tathagata. The extensive explanation of the three secrets should be understood as explained in the explanation of the Prajnaparamita and the Secret Place Display Sutra. In short, the statements of the treatises can be summarized into two types: outsiders and insiders. Outsiders refer to various teachers, although there are many of them, but if we speak in terms of the main teachers, there are only four types, as stated in the Vijnaptimatrata-siddhi: The first is to hold that there exist natures such as "this exists", and that there necessarily exists a dharma with a single essence, such as the Samkhya school. Their clinging is also unreasonable, because all dharmas have the nature of existence. Just as everything has the nature of existence, there is nothing that is without difference. The second is to hold that there exist natures such as "exists", and that there necessarily exists a dharma with different essences, such as the Vaisheshika school. Their clinging is also unreasonable, because all dharmas do not have the nature of existence. Just as things that have already ceased, there is nothing that is without self-nature.

There is nothing, because there is no object of focus. The third is the clinging to the existence of phenomena that have characteristics such as existence, and whose essence is both one and different, such as the absence of wonder. Those clingings are also unreasonable, because the one and the different are the same as before, because there is the fault of one and different. The fourth is the clinging to the existence of phenomena that have characteristics such as existence, and that are neither one nor different, such as wrong livelihood. Those clingings are also unreasonable, because the fault of neither one nor different is the same as one and different, and the details are as explained therein. Extensive differentiation is explained in the very extensive treatise "The Hundred Verses" and in the treatises in which Master Aryadeva refuted four positions. In this regard, the scriptures of this Dharma also have three aspects in brief: scriptures that follow different diseases, scriptures that are well-separated by different schools, and scriptures that explain according to the power of time. Among them, the scriptures that follow different diseases are as follows: When sentient beings, under the influence of ignorance, produce eighty-four thousand afflictions, the Tathagatas follow the patients and accordingly prescribe medicines, so the scriptures are spoken one by one. Therefore, in the treatise "The Immaculate Collection" and others, it is said that there are four maras and eighty-four thousand gates of affliction in the world, because sentient beings are greatly afflicted by them, the Tathagatas
