It is in accordance with what is taught in the Great Commentary. In the treatises *Abhidharmasamuccaya* and *Madhyāntavibhāga*, it is said that the seven limbs of enlightenment are on the path of seeing, and the eight limbs of the noble path are on the path of cultivation. In the treatise *Vibhajyavāda*, it is said that the seven limbs of enlightenment are the path of seeing. Among the eight limbs of the noble path, right view belongs to both the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, while the other seven belong only to the path of cultivation. In the treatise *Yogācārabhūmi*, it is said that the seven limbs of enlightenment are on the path of seeing. Among the eight limbs of the noble path, right speech, right action, and right livelihood are definitely established as only on the path of cultivation, and there is no other explanation. The meaning of the noble path, which is extensively differentiated, should be understood as it appears from the teachings on characteristics. World-Honored One, having seen those, I thought: These venerable ones abide in the direct realization with objects, and because they teach the Dharma with various characteristics from each other, they make knowledge communicate, and from this point onwards, it shows what the third thought of oneself is. This is also divided into three aspects: briefly stating one's own thought, repeating one's own thought and requesting, and praising the qualities of the World-Honored One. This is the first, briefly stating one's own thought. All these venerable ones are those who have pride in their own realization. Because they are possessed by the pride of their own realization, they think that they do not understand the nature of all ultimate truths as being of one taste. This is the second, repeating one's own thought and requesting. Therefore, the World-Honored One is wonderful and amazing, and similarly, the World-Honored One is well-spoken, etc., this is the third, praising the qualities of the World-Honored One, and this also has three aspects. For example, briefly praising that it is well-spoken, stating the teachings that should be praised, and showing that it is not the realm of others, this is the first.

As the Bhagavan said, "The nature of the ultimate truth is extremely subtle, most extremely subtle; extremely profound, most extremely profound; extremely difficult to realize, most extremely difficult to realize; the nature of all being of one taste." This is called the second, the statement of the teaching to be praised. The meaning of the words 'subtle' and so on is as previously explained. If even a monastic who has entered the Bhagavan's noble teaching finds it extremely difficult to realize the nature of the ultimate truth, which is all of one taste, then what need is there to mention the views of the later non-Buddhists? This is called the third, showing that it is not the sphere of others. For example, all those who, like the two vehicles and the non-Buddhists, do not comprehend the nature of one taste, will here generate manifest pride. This is its meaning. Eighteenth fascicle. Then, the Bhagavan addressed the venerable Subhuti, "It is so, it is so." From here onwards, it shows the third, the Bhagavan's correct explanation. To show that the previous statements are indeed true, and from "Why is that?" onwards, it extensively explains starting from the extremely subtle. The first is also divided into two: showing that the objects of thought are indeed true, and showing that the objects of praise have become true. This is the first, showing that the objects of thought are indeed true. Because it is not just one realization, therefore the words are repeated, "It is so, it is so." Subhuti, I have fully awakened to the ultimate truth of the nature of extreme subtlety, most extreme subtlety; extreme profundity, most extreme profundity; extreme difficulty to realize, most extreme difficulty to realize; the nature of all being of one taste, and having fully awakened, I have also declared, taught, explained, established, and clarified it to others. This is called the second, showing that the objects of praise have become true. As you have praised, I have also understood the ultimate nature of one taste, such as extreme subtlety.
