It has been taught about the places where many reside. The term "bhikshu" is explained by the teacher, the righteous Vajra, as one who begs, destroys sins, and causes fear to demons. In the commentary on the Noble Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it is said to have five meanings. The first is begging, because one lives by being completely pure. Therefore, it is said that because one is free from the four ways of making a living by the mouth, it is called completely pure. The four ways of making a living by the mouth are: whatever renunciant lives in an impure way by compounding medicines, plowing grains, planting trees, and so on, that is called making a living by looking downwards with the mouth. Whatever renunciant discerns from the changes of constellations, sun and moon, wind and rain, lightning, and the dripping of the tongue, and lives in a completely pure way, that is called making a living by looking upwards with the mouth. Whatever renunciant shows power by frowning, goes as a messenger in the four directions, flatters, and seeks much, and lives in an impure way, that is called making a living by looking in all directions with the mouth. Whatever renunciant learns mantras and various methods of divination, shows good and bad, and lives in an impure way like this, that is called making a living by the mouth. The second is called bhikshu because of destroying afflictions. The third is the name of a renunciant. The fourth is called guarding the completely pure discipline. The fifth is said to be causing fear to demons. In the Yogachara Bhumi, it is said that there are five kinds of bhikshus: the begging bhikshu, the self-proclaimed bhikshu, the nominal bhikshu, the bhikshu who destroys afflictions, and the bhikshu who has taken full ordination through the request and the four karmas. In the teacher's memorandum of true reality, it is said that when in the causal state, it is called causing fear to demons, begging, and destroying sins. When one reaches the state of fruition, the one who causes fear to demons becomes an Arhat. The beggar becomes worthy of offerings. The one who destroys sins is called unborn. Thus it is said.

At that time, they gathered together and dwelt in the manifest realization with signs. They saw those who communicated knowledge by teaching the Dharma with various signs, each from their own perspective. From the word "etc." onwards, it shows the communication of knowledge of the other two. This also has two aspects: generally mentioning the objects of investigation and separately showing the objects of investigation. This is the first. This is the initial general mention of the objects of investigation, as shown below. Relying on the five aggregates, etc., knowledge transforms into various forms, and they consider them to be the meaning of the object of focus. However, they do not reveal the ultimate truth with the wisdom of emptiness, the single taste of all dharmas. Similarly, they cling to the ultimate truth regarding the distinctions of self-nature among the eight limbs of the Noble Path and the antidotes, etc., thereby generating pride of accomplishment. Therefore, it is mentioned here. Among them, the so-called manifest realization, if explained from the *Yogacarabhumi-sastra*, then the definitive meaning within it is the meaning of manifest realization. According to the *Abhidharmakosa*, the clear seeing of the objects of the truths is called manifest realization. This manifest realization is explained differently in various teachings. For example, the *Abhidharmakosa* says that there are three types of manifest realization: because of view, condition, and the difference of things. Some treatises say that there are six types, as explained in the *Yogacarabhumi-sastra*. Some treatises say that there are ten grounds, as taught in the *Abhidharmasamuccaya* and the *Abhidharmasamuccayavyakhya*. Here, the "manifest realization with signs" refers to those monks who, relying on the first turning of the wheel of Dharma, explained thirteen Dharma doors, understanding the meaning according to the literal words, without comprehending the ultimate truth of emptiness, the single taste of signlessness, and thus generating pride of accomplishment, thinking that they had realized the ultimate truth. Those monks rely on what kind of manifest realization to communicate knowledge

If asked how it arises? The answer is that abiding in the path of seeing and the path of meditation, as well as the path of no more learning and the previous practices, are also general instructions. Therefore, it is said in the sutra below, from "obtaining mindfulness" to "similarly obtaining the eightfold noble path" and so on. Seventeenth fascicle. Among them, some say that in order to obtain the aggregates, to obtain the characteristics of the aggregates, to obtain the arising of the aggregates, to obtain the cessation of the aggregates, to obtain the stopping of the aggregates, and to transmit knowledge for the sake of realizing the stopping of the aggregates, this below is the second chapter, which separately shows the examination. This can also be divided into two types: one is to show that knowledge is transmitted by relying on the six kinds of objects that should be examined by the wise; the other is that some people say that from "obtaining mindfulness" onwards, it shows that knowledge is transmitted by relying on the seven yoga doors of the aspects of enlightenment. Here, it is first shown that knowledge is transmitted by relying on the six kinds of objects that should be examined by the wise. The six things that the wise should examine are: aggregates, sources, dependent origination, four kinds of food, four truths, and eighteen realms. In fact, the dharmas of sources and realms have been completely included, but because of the different interests of sentient beings, they are divided into six doors based on aggregates and so on. Only when that suchness is realized can one truly
