Secondly, that which is not directly realized by wisdom is as follows: the unconditioned dharma obtained by abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the meditation of the latter three of the nine aspects of the desire realm, because wisdom focuses on it, but it has not yet been obtained. Thirdly, that which is directly realized by both body and wisdom is as follows: the unconditioned dharma obtained by abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the meditation of the desire realm, from the first six aspects, and by the seeing of the four truths of the desire realm. Fourthly, that which is not directly realized by both body and wisdom is as follows: the unconditioned dharma obtained by abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the meditation of the two upper realms. "Why is that?" is called the fourth addition and examination, which is the examination of the reason why it is profound. If the intelligence is very pure, if the characteristics of the ultimate truth and the characteristics of the conditioned phenomena are not different, then from here onwards, the fifth, the Extensive Explanation by the Tathagata, shows it, and it is divided into three from itself by showing it in three ways. The first of these is to destroy the clinging to oneness and otherness based on the three and five faults. The second is that if the intelligence is very pure, if the characteristics of the ultimate truth and the characteristics of the conditioned phenomena are not different, then from here onwards, it destroys the clinging to oneness and otherness based on the purity of the general characteristics. The third is that if the intelligence is very pure, if the characteristics of the ultimate truth and the characteristics of the conditioned phenomena are not different, then from here onwards, it destroys the clinging to oneness and otherness based on the non-difference of conditioned phenomena and selflessness, etc. The first category is also divided into two: the destruction of clinging by inconsistent explanations, and the destruction of clinging by consistent explanations. The destruction by inconsistent explanations is also divided into two: clinging to oneness based on the three faults.

And causing the destruction of that emptiness view, and based on the five faults, causing the destruction of not holding to distinct entities. The destruction of holding to oneness is also shown in two ways: through statement and through accurate refutation. This is the statement of holding to oneness. Here, all ordinary beings will also become those who see the truth, etc., this is the second, accurately refuting the view of holding to oneness through three faults. The three faults are: the fault of ordinary beings seeing the nature of truth, the fault of attaining nirvana, and the fault of attaining unsurpassed bodhi. This is the very showing of the fault of ordinary beings seeing the nature of truth. For example, if one asserts that formations themselves are the nature of truth, then the forms seen by ordinary beings should also become seeing the truth, because form itself is the meaning of truth. Furthermore, ordinary beings will attain the unsurpassed means of the bliss of nirvana, this is the second, showing the fault of ordinary beings also attaining nirvana. The unsurpassed means is the truth of the path, the stainless noble path. Nirvana is of four types: naturally pure essence, with remainder, without remainder, and non-abiding, which will be explained later. Here, it is combined with with remainder and non-abiding, and naturally pure, because it exists from the beginning. Without remainder is because the body has ceased. Or, here it is combined with without remainder, because having stopped with remainder, without remainder is attained. Stating the path of means shows the result of nirvana. Therefore, it is said the unsurpassed means of the bliss of nirvana. The statement that unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment will be manifestly completely awakened is the third, showing the fault of ordinary beings also attaining unsurpassed bodhi. If they are not distinct entities, then ordinary beings, regarding forms, etc.
