The following from "not comprehending" shows the second point, the Tathagata's correct answer. This can be divided into five aspects: the Tathagata seals as feasible, re-examines, the Tathagata answers briefly, supplements and examines again, and the Tathagata explains extensively. This is the first point, the Tathagata seals as feasible. The explanation of repeating words such as "Thus, thus" should be understood as previously stated. "Why is that?" This is the second point, re-examining, meaning "Why is it not comprehended?" "Those who have extremely pure wisdom and practice the aggregates in this way do not realize the nature of ultimate truth, nor do they directly realize ultimate truth," this is the third point, showing the Tathagata's brief answer. The intention of saying this answer is: whether one thinks that the aggregates and ultimate truth are one, or clings to them as different, those people cannot realize or directly realize it, because they have many faults. The nature of many faults will be explained later. Regarding the difference between realization and direct realization, that which comprehends the ultimate truth is realization. That which attains Nirvana and the fruit of Bodhi is direct realization. Furthermore, the uninterrupted path is realization. The path of liberation can also be said to be realization, and it can also be said to be direct realization, because the unconditioned is directly realized. Furthermore, the wisdom obtained from the aftermath is realization. The wisdom of true self-nature is direct realization. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Perfection of Wisdom, it is said: "Bhagavan, how does one directly realize and obtain such a realm of Dharma?" The Bhagavan said: "With transcendental wisdom and wisdom obtained from the aftermath, and with non-discriminating wisdom.

Then it is directly realized. Then it is obtained. World Honored One, what is the difference in meaning between direct realization and obtaining? The World Honored One said: Because of seeing things as they truly are with transcendental wisdom, it is called direct realization. Because of realizing through the wisdom obtained afterwards, it is called obtaining, so it is said. Direct realization is easy, but for the time being, when combined with the treatises of the Sarvastivada school, the noble path, in relation to unconditioned dharmas, has four possibilities, of two kinds: four possibilities of multiple moments and four possibilities of a single moment. Among them, the four possibilities of multiple moments, firstly, the body directly realizes, but wisdom does not directly realize, for example: at the time of the liberation path that focuses on the three truths, because of directly realizing the unconditioned, it is called the body directly realizes. Wisdom that does not focus on cessation is called not directly realizing. Secondly, wisdom directly realizes, but the body does not directly realize, for example: at the time of the uninterrupted path of the truth of cessation, because of focusing on the unconditioned, it is called wisdom directly realizes. Because cessation is not obtained, it is called the body does not directly realize. Thirdly, both the body and wisdom directly realize, for example: at the time of focusing on the liberation path of the truth of cessation, wisdom focuses on the unconditioned, and cessation is also obtained. Fourthly, neither the body nor wisdom directly realize, for example: at the time of focusing on the uninterrupted path of the three truths, wisdom focuses on cessation, and cessation is not obtained. Among them, the four possibilities of a single moment, for the time being, for example, how when one obtains the result of once-returner through knowledge of dharma regarding cessation, there are four possibilities in a single moment: firstly, the body directly realizes, but wisdom does not directly realize, for example: the two upper realms are the unconditioned obtained by abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing, like this, when obtaining the result, one obtains it simultaneously.
