It appears, like space and so on, it is said. Therefore, the word "permanent" in this way indicates that it is not impermanent. The word "uncreated" indicates that there is no creator. Therefore, it should be understood that dissimilar examples should be refutations of speech. Furthermore, in the treatise "Jewel in the Hand," it says: For the sake of refuting the different aspects, the dissimilar examples of phenomena are established, because there is no different aspect, therefore the meaning of refutation is completely established. Furthermore, in the same treatise it says: Furthermore, the words that refute speech are the most excellent because they refute what should be refuted. Because once what should be refuted is refuted, its function ends there, so it cannot show the difference of what should be said again. Here, if combined with the teachings of the Mahayana, then all speech is the refutation of speech. Therefore, in the "Treatise on the Door of Reasoning," it says that there are two kinds of examples: similar phenomena and dissimilar phenomena. Among them, the former is the refutation of speech, and the latter is only the inclusion of refutation. As it is explained in detail there. This is the distinction between the two kinds of examples, the former is the similar example, and the latter is the dissimilar example, the own-character of phenomena is unspeakable. If the general character is spoken, then other phenomena will also be refuted, for example, when blue is spoken, non-blue and so on are refuted. Furthermore, in the very extensive treatise "Hundred Treatises," it says that all that I have said are the words mentioning the refutation, the refutation is the refutation of others' clinging to birth and cessation, etc., because there is no birth, so it is not refuted, so it is only the refutation of birth. There is no cessation, so there will be no birth, so it is only the refutation of cessation. Discontinuity and permanence, etc., should also be understood in the same way. At the time of Nirvana, there is birth, death, discontinuity and cessation, but that is a skillful means of speaking, it is imputed, not real. For example, like the teaching that there is constant happiness, etc., in the realm of the gods, that is a conventional way of speaking, not words that are in accordance with the truth itself.

It is not so. The words and phrases previously shown should be used to destroy all attachments that have been thoroughly examined in various ways. If even "I" and so on are not real, then who can become real? Like this, the ultimate essence is that the path of mind and speech is cut off, all elaborations are completely purified, and it does not run at all. Therefore, it is said that the inner wisdom of the noble ones is only individual awareness. The third is called unspeakable because name and meaning are interdependent and are mutually temporary. As it is said in the Compendium on the Great Vehicle, "Furthermore, how does the nature of other-dependence appear as the nature of the completely imputed? If it does not appear as its own nature, then what does it appear as?" Because there is no wisdom before the name, it is contradictory in nature; because many names contradict many natures; because the name is uncertain, it contradicts the confusion with nature. The extensive explanations can be found in the works of Master Vasubandhu, the Commentary on the Absence of Own-nature, the Treatise on the Absence of Own-nature and the Explanation of the Three Aspects, the Yoga Practice Grounds, and as taught in the Bodhisattva Grounds. The fourth is called unspeakable because all dharmas have no object of focus. Therefore, in the Holy Diamond Cutter Sutra and others, it is said, "The Dharma taught by the Tathagata cannot be grasped. Why? Because the noble beings are distinguished by unconditioned dharmas." Furthermore, in the chapter on entering non-duality in the Sutra Based on the Holy Vimalakirti, many Bodhisattvas each spoke of their own realizations, and then at the same time asked the Bodhisattva Manjushri, "How can one comprehend entering the gate of the non-dual Dharma of the Bodhisattva?" Then Manjushri said to the Bodhisattvas, "All that you have said is non-dual, but as I know it, what you have said is still dualistic. If a Bodhisattva cannot say many words about all dharmas, cannot be indicated, has no name, and has no elaboration.
