Within it, with those sounds and languages, in short, with all the languages of all beings, each individually teaches them the Dharma until enlightenment, this is called the third cause. By saying "the other shore," etc., the other shore refers to taming the continuum. The other shore refers to the ten perfections, such as generosity. To this, with great diligence and fearless mind, strive in all times and places, and may the mind of enlightenment never be forgotten or separated until enlightenment, this is called the fourth cause. These four and a half verses are to show the opponents of the mind of enlightenment, that is, the antidotes to those obscurations. Now, with half a verse, it shows abandoning the opponents, that is, it is said "whatever sins become obscurations," etc. Sins become obscurations, that is, those that obstruct the mind of enlightenment, may they all be completely purified and abandoned in all times and places. Now, from where, where, and how, with three causes, it shows the three combinations without attachment, that is, it is said "from the actions of karma and afflictions and demons, etc." From where? From the path of karma, afflictions, and demons. This karma is also not differentiated, so it includes the three distinctions of virtuous, non-virtuous, and immovable, from which it is liberated from non-virtuous karma, afflictions, and the actions of demons, and is not defiled by them and always practiced. Where? In the world of beings, that is, among the gods, etc. How? It is said, "Like a lotus that does not cling to water." Just as a lotus arises from water and does not cling to water, in the same way, it practices without being defiled by sinful actions, afflictions, and the worldly dharmas of the path of demons, that is its meaning. Similarly, one does not cling to virtuous and immovable actions, and without looking at the ripening of the fruit, one benefits all beings.

It is called the conduct of a Bodhisattva to practice solely for the sake of generating benefit. Similarly, without attachment to virtuous and unwavering actions, and without looking to the ripening of fruits, but practicing solely for the sake of benefiting and bringing happiness to all beings, only this can be called the conduct of a Bodhisattva. What is it like? It is like the sun and moon moving unhindered in the sky. It is said here that, for example, the sun and moon in the world are like wish-fulfilling jewels, single-mindedly devoted to accomplishing the benefit of others. Without any attachment to their own benefit, they move day and night in the sky, just like that. The so-called "mara" is that which creates obstacles to virtuous actions, blocking the path to enlightenment and reversing the correct path. In terms of its meaning, it is called "mara" because it is an obstacle that cuts off the life force of the Dharma, meaning a killer. Its path is to harm beneficial things with malice. The fourth way is to benefit all sentient beings in this life and the next, as it is said: "How vast are the boundaries and directions of the fields, all the sufferings of the lower realms, etc." It means to completely pacify the sufferings of beings in the lower realms, that is, the sufferings arising from the three lower realms. And why is it said only to pacify the sufferings of the lower realms? Because they are of a nature that causes great harm, they are specifically mentioned, but it should be understood as pacifying all the sufferings of samsara. Similarly, all beings should also be placed in the supreme bliss. What should be done? In order to benefit all beings, in order to generate benefit, until the attainment of unsurpassed wisdom, without generating weariness in the mind, without turning to other things, one should practice and strive. Until when? As it is said: "How vast are the boundaries and directions of the fields." The so-called directions refer to the ten directions. How much refers to as much as there is. The so-called boundaries of the fields refer to the continuation of the Buddha-fields, that is, continuing uninterrupted through countless eons, until that time one should practice.

Connect them. The fifth is armor. That is, acting in accordance with the behavior of sentient beings, perfecting the Dharma of the Buddha, and excellently teaching the Dharma, there are three ways. The practice of achieving Bodhi is fulfilled, which refers to practicing for Bodhi is Bodhi practice. To make it complete, that is, to generate the Dharma of the Buddha. What is said such as the behavior of sentient beings? After understanding all the behaviors of sentient beings' minds in all lifetimes, with the nature of being unshakable, and the nature of being happy and harmonious when getting along, acting in accordance with them. Excellent conduct is excellent teaching, which means that excellent conduct is considered to be excellent teaching here, so it is considered to be the nature of teaching the Dharma. Because excellent conduct is added to those clearly expressed words. That word is excellently preached to sentient beings, that is, correctly excellently preached and explained, and at the end of the future afterlife, practice with a tireless mind. The sixth is to meet the Bodhisattva with whom one has affinity through the aspiration of body, speech, and mind, what is said such as whoever acts in accordance with my conduct? That is, which Bodhisattvas are the same as my conduct, that is, those who are the same and similar in conduct, and may I always meet and associate with them until I reach Bodhi, and with body, speech, and mind only with those, with the abode of no defilement, practice the same conduct and the same aspiration of the Bodhisattva. The seventh is to please the virtuous teacher by practicing the teachings that benefit others, what is said such as the friend who desires to benefit me? That is, the friend who desires to benefit me, the virtuous teacher, the one who preaches and explains excellent conduct, who is the Dharma speaker, and those who always associate and meet with them, and those.
