My words and sentences, the first part, become understandable as immeasurable, therefore it is called the ocean. Likewise, all the Buddhas who have gone to the three times of past, present, and future, teach the Dharma with such pure Dharma sound, so that countless listeners can, as they wish, with the Buddha's unobstructed ears, constantly hear all the Dharma sounds like the ocean, and completely remember them in their hearts. It is also said in the scriptures: Many beings in samsara, for various different beliefs, although only one voice is spoken, they can understand it as many forms. They think, the Buddha is only preaching for me alone. How do all beings understand it? What is more amazing than this? Such a wonderful thing is like this: In the sutra section "The Liberation of the Holy Maitreya," which is adorned with trees, it says: The Dharma clouds of the Sugatas of the ten directions, abiding in one place, listen without confusion, and in countless kalpas, the mind is not satisfied, may they practice equally with the ocean of wisdom. The first two verses show the greatness of preaching. The last verse shows the greatness of listening. Entering the turning of the Dharma wheel, what is that? It is "their voice will not be exhausted" and so on. The "their" in it refers to all the Buddhas of the three times of past, present, and future. "Turning the Dharma wheel" is entering into it. "Will not be exhausted" refers to the Dharma sound that transcends counting. The "with the power of wisdom" in it refers to entering and realizing in an instant with great wisdom power. "Ways" refers to in what way, to whom the Dharma is preached, that is, at what time and place, beings with various beliefs are tamed. Entering the kalpa, what is that? It is "with one instant" and so on. With the wisdom of one instant, enter the ten directions. The "all future kalpas" in it refers to entering from one kalpa to another. In short, whether it is the kalpas of the three times of past, present, and future, all of them must be realized with a part of the wisdom of one instant.

Entering the realm of the Tathagata's vision and activity, what is it? As it is said: 'The lions among men who have passed through the three times,' and so on. That is, the lions among men, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas, who have passed through the ten directions and three times. To see them with a single moment of wisdom is to make them visible. Their realm of activity is their realm of activity. As it is said: 'Entering by the power of illusory liberation.' That is, illusion is the liberation of the Bodhisattva, entering constantly by the power of the nature of wisdom. Entering into the manifestation and adornment of the Buddha-fields, what is it? As it is said: 'Whatever the fields of the three times,' and so on. Whatever the adornment of the fields of the three times, that is, the many fields, to manifest and adorn is to manifest and adorn on a single atom by the power of miraculous transformation. As it is said: 'Thus, in all directions without exception.' That is, just as one manifests and adorns on the atoms of all directions without exception, so too, with a single moment of wisdom, one manifests and adorns many fields and enters. Now, the nature, measure, color, and shape of all the Buddha-fields, each different and unmixed, cannot even be placed on a single atom. How can many different things be placed on a single atom, unseparated and unmixed in the ten directions? Thus, how can one have faith in this? The answer to this is, therefore, all dharmas are incomplete, without self-nature, like illusions, unborn, unceasing, primordially peaceful like tangled hair, and by nature beyond the mind. How can they arise merely by conjecture based on faith and understanding? By cultivating various forms well, and by the distinctions of samadhi and liberation of many forms, one experiences inconceivable various forms, and therefore these things appear clearly. In the world, even a slight magical power arising from a small mantra, if well cultivated, can manifest the beauty of a wondrous illusion. Therefore, all these things are as they are spoken.
