Therefore, it is certain through these powers. The so-called "universal good" is because it is accomplished by the intention to benefit all sentient beings and serve them. The so-called "power of wisdom" is because it is the wisdom that knows all knowable things. The so-called "non-attachment" is because there is no attachment to the three times of past, present, and future. The so-called "power of wisdom" is because it can realize the truth of things. The so-called "power of skillful means" is called skillful means because of its approach, and its power is meaningful. The so-called "power of Samadhi" is called Samadhi because of its correct holding, which is meditation. Its power is to benefit all beings, and there is no obstacle in attaining the merits of supernatural powers and so on. This is the power of Samadhi. The so-called "powers of Bodhi," Bodhi is the power of unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and equal awakening, which is power. It can be accomplished correctly. The thirteenth is the power of antidote. Among them, from the perspective of destroying the power of unfavorable factors, karma, afflictions, and demons, the third is: Karma makes all powers powerless. This is the difference that is said. Because there is no difference, there are three types from the distinction of good, non-good, and unwavering. Among them, for the time being, the power of non-good karma that will definitely be experienced is the ability to generate the three lower realms. It can completely purify, eliminate, refute, etc., and combine through these powers. As the sutra says: Even if sins are extremely difficult to exhaust, they are reduced by condemning oneself, and they are eradicated from the root by thorough repentance and vows, I say so. It can also be completely purified through the power of the antidote. For example, just like a friend's daughter harmed her mother, this universally caused non-good karma, due to the difference in the field, began to give the fruit that ripens in this life, even if only a little fruit was produced, but due to the arising of superior intention, merely wishing for Bodhicitta for the benefit of sentient beings can completely uproot and destroy it. What is it like to wish for Bodhicitta for the benefit of sentient beings?

If asked, why is it established like this? The answer is: For the sake of all sentient beings who, like me, will harm their mothers, may they all experience the endless great suffering of having their heads severed by a wheel of jewels, continuously, until the end of samsara. May no sentient being ever come here again. By the power of the deity, for example, in the Jataka of the Pig Woman, some sons of gods, having exhausted their lifespans, were destined to be born among the many sows in the village, and signs of the fruition of their karma were already manifest. However, simply by taking refuge in the Three Jewels, all evil karma was completely eradicated, and after dying from the gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens, they were born among the gods of Tushita. From the perspective of realizing that all dharmas are without self, evil karma can also be completely eradicated. As it is said in the Sutra on Purifying Karmic Obscurations: For example, a certain bhikshu committed the two defeats of engaging in impure conduct and killing his mother, and afterwards he felt remorse and pain in his heart, and like a madman he wandered from monastery to monastery, from village to village, from street to street, and proclaimed loudly before all people: I am ruined! I am ruined! He shouted again and again, "Alas! Alas!" and through the power of confessing his sins, he reduced his karma. When his mind was extremely distressed in this way, another Bodhisattva who had attained clairvoyance showed him such a profound Dharma, enabling him to realize that all dharmas are without self, thereby eradicating all those sins from all, all, all aspects, and he obtained the forbearance of non-arising dharmas. Therefore, one should believe that special devotion to the profound Dharma can eliminate all transgressions and regrets, and can completely purify all karmic obscurations. As it is said in the Arya Tathagatagarbha Sutra: Kashyapa, whether it is a Shravaka or a Pratyekabuddha, if one kills them, this is the heaviest of all acts of killing.
