Or close to, or must abide for half a kalpa, those karmas that cause suffering due to extremely regretful minds are alleviated by the power of truthful confession and so on. For example, it is said that that karma is like the time when a fruit falls, one truly experiences it. So, does that much completely eliminate that karma from its roots? It is not possible to become unplowed just by plowing once. If even a difference as small as a sparrow's foot cannot be changed, then how can the accumulation of karma that is certain to be exhausted be completely exhausted? That is also, if one strives to engage the mind of the antidote, it will surely be exhausted. Then, if it is said that even after hundreds of thousands of kalpas, karma will not be wasted, and when it accumulates and matures, it will bring results to sentient beings, etc., how should that be understood? For those karmas that have not been abandoned and alleviated by the power of actions such as refuting all evil deeds, it should be explained in that way. Just as it is also said in the sutras: An unwise person, even if he does a little evil, will fall into the lower realms, but a wise person, even if he does great evil, can quickly repent and purify it. Iron, though small, will sink if placed on the surface of water, but even if it is large, it can float if made into a vessel. It is said. Sinful deeds that are not certain to be experienced, whether past, present, or future, whatever is beyond counting, can also be completely purified. This is for the sake of bringing benefit and happiness to sentient beings who are born in the lower realms, relying on the power of karma, simultaneously and uninterruptedly in the ten directions until the end of samsara, rebirths with the same destiny as this, as well as differences in color, shape, and size, are determined by the ripening of the fruit, and the power of virtuous deeds is able to generate the fruit of existence, which can also be completely purified. How is it purified? By abandoning the ripening fruit and completely turning to enlightenment through aspiration, it is determined, and in the form and formless realms, the immovable karma caused by meditation and the formless realm is also the same, that is also eliminated, and relying on the power of karma, as desired, for the benefit of sentient beings,

Diligently strive to practice, this is the diligence practiced here. In the phrase "The power of all afflictions is fully gathered," afflictions arise from the flow of body and mind, and afflictions are greed, etc. Their power is such that by their influence, all beings can go, cannot go, know not what is beneficial and unbeneficial, heavy and light, etc., and it is the state of increasing understanding. The method of subduing them is to cultivate the contemplation of impurity, etc., and to subdue the worldly path. In short, one can freely control afflictions and cultivate them as limbs of enlightenment. In the phrase "The power of demons is made powerless," demons refer to the sons of gods, etc. Their power is the ability to obstruct the conduct of Bodhisattvas, etc., making them powerless, that is, using the power of superknowledge to make them without majesty and power, thus establishing it. In the phrase "The power of good conduct is made complete," the power of good conduct is the state of not being overcome by opposing factors, and naturally achieving it. "All" means without remainder. "Making complete" is a timid word, making it complete with ten kinds of superknowledge, etc., and the three kinds of antidotes just mentioned. Now I will explain the fourteenth aspect, what is the activity of Bodhisattvas. That activity is the purification of Buddha-fields, etc., the eight aspects, which are explained in two verses, such as "Buddha-fields like the sea," such as the Pure Land of Bliss and the Lotus World, purifying Buddha-fields like the sea in each moment, and so on in the cycle of...
