And in an eon equal to this, offering charity to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, etc., any other being, having heard this King of Aspiration, generates joy, and, like this only, even if saying the word "also" just once, faith can arise in an instant. Who is that? It is the one who is extremely diligent towards the supreme Bodhi, that is, the Mahayana practitioner. He will obtain the excellent merit arising from charity. According to some views, it actually refers to that person, whose merit will become extremely pure. By abandoning wrong views and bad friends, one can see the Tathagata. For example, by establishing this aspiration of good conduct, etc. He will abandon all three lower realms, he will abandon bad friends such as Sravakas, and unwholesome spiritual friends, etc. At the time of death, he will also quickly see the Bhagavat Tathagata Amitabha Buddha. Who can see it? It is the one who understands the meaning and text of this good conduct aspiration from the depths of his heart. In order to obtain perfect attainment, livelihood, and excellent rebirth, and to obtain a status equal to that of a Bodhisattva, it refers to those "attainments" etc. that are spoken of. They will obtain the unsurpassed jewel of aspiration. Because they have obtained this unsurpassed jewel of aspiration, they live happily. Precisely because of this, in order to obtain the most excellent object of rebirth, one can arrive well in this life, and like the noble Samantabhadra, they will also soon become like that. Fourth, the benefit of purifying karmic obscurations is: "The sins of the five inexpiable crimes, etc." What is said, such as killing one's mother, etc., the sins of the five inexpiable crimes, are all done because of ignorance. Because ignorance is the root, any of greed, etc., can be said to be done because of ignorance. In order to understand exactly what is said, the mind is moistened with extremely clear water and transformed excellently.

If someone possessing these qualities recites this "Samantabhadra's Aspiration for Excellent Conduct," especially reciting it with devotion, and teaches it day and night to all beings, then all uninterrupted karmas will be quickly and completely purified, uprooted, and completely eliminated. There are also two aspects related to the other shore: summarized by cause and summarized by effect. Among them, summarized by cause refers to the nature of appearance, name, marks, lineage, ancestry, harmlessness, and being worthy of offerings. As it is said, "Wisdom and..." etc., wisdom means that all actions can be perfectly accomplished. Appearance refers to a captivating appearance. Name refers to the thirty-two major marks of a great person, such as having a protuberance on the crown of the head, etc., and because it belongs to the category of marks, it is certain to possess those marks as well. Lineage refers to any lineage, such as Brahmin or Kshatriya. Ancestry refers to being superior to all and manifesting realization. The so-called "associated with these" means constantly and truly connected and related. "Becoming" means accomplishment. "Demons and heretical groups cannot overcome him," means that if someone upholds and teaches this "Samantabhadra's Aspiration for Excellent Conduct," then demons and heretical groups cannot overcome or suppress him, and he will be worshipped in all three realms. Summarized by effect refers to the nature of going to the heart of the Bodhi tree, demonstrating sitting on a lion throne, subduing the Maras, manifesting enlightenment, turning the wheel of Dharma, etc. As it is said, "Before the Bodhi tree king, quickly approach him," etc., whoever possesses this supreme and precious "Samantabhadra's Aspiration for Excellent Conduct" and accumulates the accumulations of merit and wisdom will quickly go before the Bodhi tree king. After arriving before the Bodhi tree, in order to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings, he sits in the lotus position on a lion throne. After sitting, he can also defeat the Maras and attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment beneath it.

It means that one fully realizes complete enlightenment and turns the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma, and teaches in brief. Furthermore, the benefit of obtaining all the perfections of worldly and transcendental is: What is said, such as "All these aspirations of good deeds," etc. Whoever holds, proclaims, and recites this "Practice of Samantabhadra," the result will be enlightenment in this world, which only the venerable Bhagavan knows, not the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. If you ask, what kind of result is this precious aspiration? The answer is: "To the supreme Bodhi" refers to the fruit of unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment. Because without worldly perfection, there will be no transcendental perfection, so the benefit of obtaining all worldly perfections should also be regarded as an indirect expression. Therefore, do not doubt this aspiration, do not give rise to hesitation. Now, the intermediate dedication is said, that is, "How does Manjushri the Brave Know," etc. Just as the noble Manjushri, and the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra know, in order for me to follow in their footsteps, I completely dedicate all these virtues. This is the dedication of the Bodhisattva. Now the second is said, that is, the dedication of the Tathagata, that is, "All the Buddhas who have passed through the three times," etc. All the Buddhas who have passed through the three times, what kind of dedication is most praised, and the dedication that praises its benefits and virtues, I also dedicate all these virtues with the ocean of merit, for the sake of practicing Samantabhadra. Now it is said that half of the verse expresses being free from obstacles, and the latter half expresses the complete acceptance of the nature that is in harmony with Tara. "When I am about to die," etc., refers to the time of death.
