La Khrims so. The practice of discipline is called the practice of discipline itself, so it is the practice of discipline, and because it is practiced, it is called practice. May such a pure, completely pure, undiminished, and flawless practice of discipline always be practiced until enlightenment. This is the second cause of not abandoning the mind of enlightenment. The so-called "language of the gods" and so on is for the gods in the language of the gods. For nagas, yakshas, kumbhandas, and humans, it is in their language, that is, sounds. In short, however many sounds there are of all beings, may the sacred Dharma be taught to them separately in that way until enlightenment. This is the third cause of not forgetting the mind of enlightenment. The so-called "by them" and so on, by them is to destroy the continuum. Going to the other shore refers to the ten perfections such as generosity. Diligence towards them means being strict and not discouraged in every way by oneself. The so-called "never" means that the mind of enlightenment should never be forgotten until the essence of enlightenment, this is the fourth cause. These four and a half verses are to show the antidote to the obscurations that are the opposite of the mind of enlightenment. Now, with a half verse, it is shown to abandon the opposite side, that is, what is said such as "whatever sins become obstacles". Whatever sins become obstacles that hinder the mind of enlightenment, may those sins be completely, completely, and without remainder purified, that is, abandoned. That is the action that is not contaminated by the three forms, and it is spoken of with the three causes of "from where to where and how", that is, the so-called "karma and afflictions" and so on. The so-called "from among..." is from among karma and afflictions and the deeds of demons. This karma is also included because there is no difference, so any of the three, good karma, bad karma, and immovable karma, can be included. Among them, liberation from bad karma and afflictions and the deeds of demons means not being contaminated by them, and always acting among the beings of the world and so on. What and

If asked (how not to be attached), it is like a lotus not being attached to water. For example, just as a lotus grows in water but is not stained by water, so too, one is not stained by the worldly dharmas such as self, karma, afflictions, and the activities of demons. Similarly, one is not attached to virtuous and immovable actions, not relying on the ripening results, but only acting for the benefit and accomplishment of all beings, this is the conduct of a Bodhisattva, which should arise from the depths of one's heart. If asked (how to act), it is like the sun and moon moving unhindered in the sky. For example, the sun and moon are like wish-fulfilling jewels in the world, acting single-mindedly to accomplish the benefit of others, without even the slightest attachment to their own benefit, moving day and night in the sky, just like that, one should act. The term "demon" here refers to that which obstructs virtuous actions, becomes an obstacle to Bodhi, and causes one to turn away from the supreme path. The definition of supreme is that the Dharma is supreme, and because it obstructs the life of the Dharma, it is said to be killing, hence it is called a demon. Its activity is to turn away from things that benefit through causes and conditions. The fourth is, in order to benefit all those who have generated Bodhicitta, it is what is said such as "the extent of the field" and so on. Completely pacifying the suffering of beings in the lower realms, that is, all the suffering that is distinguished by the three lower realms. If asked why it is only said to pacify the suffering of the lower realms? Because those are extremely painful, so they are mainly mentioned, and it should be understood that this means pacifying all the suffering of Samsara. Placing all beings in supreme bliss. What does one do? One acts for the benefit of all beings, without feeling weary, without any other means of union, in order to attain unsurpassed wisdom, that is its meaning. Acting means striving. If asked how long does it last? It is like "how far is the extent of the field and the directions." How far means how long. The extent of the field refers to how vast the Buddha's pure land is, fully endowed and adorned, this arises from the successive transmissions. The directions refer to
