Therefore, in order to accomplish Bodhi without remainder, great Bodhisattvas, desiring Bodhi, should give completely. Because this is the continuum of a mind that intensely cultivates giving, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. Endowed with great compassion, the great Bodhisattva who accomplishes the benefit of all beings also gives away elephants, horses, vehicles, excellent cities, palaces, immeasurable jeweled ornaments of mansions, adorned with extremely pleasing garlands, surrounded by young women, incomparable and countless wives, sons, and daughters. Joyfully making peerless offerings. And so forth, not only completely giving, but also offering with all offerings. Thus it is said. Regarding "Those in the desire realm and the form realm, do not abide in the formless realm," and so forth, that Bodhisattva who abides in form is free from attachment to the three realms, and free from the concepts of self, sentient beings, life, and person, etc., free from things and non-things, happiness and unhappiness, with boundaries and without boundaries, existence and non-existence, female and male, etc. Free from the concepts of discordant factors such as desire, hatred, ignorance, pride, arrogance, and unawareness, and the concepts of antidotal factors. Regarding "Whoever hears the supreme Dharma from others," and so forth, having heard the inconceivable and rare deeds, those with intelligence will not even waver. Regarding "Like a vessel filled with oil and fields," and so forth, just as an image appears in a vessel filled with sesame oil that is near, so it is to know the minds of others. In order to truly realize the nature of knowing, cutting, and piercing the minds of others, one also perfectly accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings. Regarding "If one makes friends, attachment arises," and so forth, having completely abandoned attachment and anger, all internal and external things.

Where to send it. Having become a Bodhisattva who holds all the virtues of the Sugata, such as generosity and discipline. How did you kill the great Bodhisattva Lotus Moon, who is free from all faults? This is what is to be said. Then, King Brave Gift, having heard from the Sangha of monks about the great differences in the qualities of Lotus Moon, became frightened and distressed by his evil deeds. He replied to the Bodhisattva Sangha in verses: Great Forest Samantabhadra, etc. The dense Great Forest Samantabhadra has already been mentioned, so it will not be repeated. Bodhisattva, possessor of the power of compassion, etc. You, who are under the influence of great compassion, having vowed to liberate beings without protectors, have committed extremely fierce sins, please protect me. Therefore, Ananda, do not be attached to body and life. This is the order of practice shown by the Blessed One for the benefit of future beings. Why is that? This is asking about not being attached to body and life, and after understanding the merits and faults of attachment, the meaning of what should be taken and abandoned, and explaining the differences. Attachment to body and life will manifest the performance of unwholesome actions. Non-attachment to body and life will manifest the performance of wholesome actions. This was shown with the king in mind. Therefore, saying this, it is clarifying these very things with verses. Which beings are attached, etc. Those who are attached to the meaningless body, which is like a wound that always oozes pus, and to the life that is sure to move, they have done extremely terrible deeds and will obtain a hell with great terror and difficult to escape. Furthermore, those who are not attached to the body like a bubble and the life that passes very quickly, they always enter into merit such as generosity, they will go with an excellent conduct. This is what is to be said.

Having placed great compassion in their hearts for all sentient beings, it is pleasant to dwell in solitude, abandoning the pleasures of monasteries and forests. Dwelling in villages and the like, in order to prevent sentient beings from turning back, thus teaching the Dharma and so forth. In order to tell the story of what happened in the past: What I did before, when I was doing it, at that time the king became Brave Giver. Because of desire, I killed the monk Flower Moon Beauty. This is how it is explained. The royal palace called Jewel-Possessed. And so on. When coming out of the royal palace, being seen by all the retinue and so on, this is what it signifies. When coming out of the royal palace and riding in a chariot, seeing a very beautiful monk, thinking that this person might take my kingdom, due to jealousy and stinginess, fear arose in my mind. Seeing that sons, daughters, and retinues were also surrounding him, thinking that my perfect abundance was about to be taken away, and being controlled by jealousy, stinginess, and anger, due to the arrogance of power, he said these words to his son: Kill the monk who is standing in front. And so on. Those young men said this: We will not kill this monk who has become the basis for accumulating merit. Hearing the words of the sons, with a very angry expression, he said to the executioners: Quickly, quickly kill this monk. Thus he commanded, and the executioner, who had very violent actions, joyfully chopped that monk into pieces. From the place where he was cut, a stream of milk also flowed, and so on, as before. After I returned from the garden, when I went to that place, seeing that the body had been chopped into pieces but there was no change, I wondered what was the reason that there was no change? I was very surprised. Then, from the light, I heard the sound of the gods lamenting and crying: You have committed an extremely evil deed, and because of that evil deed you will definitely go to the Avici hell. After hearing these words, that king
