等等。在那之后，国王大勇对欢喜者这样说道：如果给你很多奖赏，你能让这个比丘丧命吗？等等。欢喜者说道：陛下，非常容易。国王说道：那么，为什么还不拿起锋利的武器，砍断这个比丘的手和脚？也砍断耳朵和鼻子？用钳子挖出眼睛？欢喜者也同样全部照办了。之后，那个比丘的头、耳朵和手脚被砍断后，也出现了无数亿兆的光芒。也流出了乳汁，等等。 因为这是经过无数劫的串习所成就的福德和智慧资粮所成就的身体，所以从被砍断和切断之处，为了调伏众生，显现了轮等等的相，并且流出了乳汁。因此，像这样的菩萨摩诃萨，被他人伤害怎么会死呢？这是为了充分显示他人无法砍断，并且不顾身体和性命也要做众生的利益。并且，为了摄受以那样的方式调伏的众生，显示了胜过他人善行的死亡，这并没有矛盾。同样，对于涅槃等等也应当这样说。之后，那一大群民众看到那个比丘在路上被砍断和切断，他们痛苦且不悦。感到惊奇，哭泣哀嚎，发出悲叹，然后又返回国王的珍宝宫殿。之后，国王大勇过了七天，住在最好的花园里，不快乐，不亲近，完全不享用。过了七天后，从花园返回，进入国王的珍宝宫殿。他看到那个比丘被他遗弃在国王的路上，死了七天，但身体的颜色没有改变，非常悦意，于是他这样想：这个比丘毫无疑问是从无上正等觉中不退转的。

The King said: Then, why not take a sharp weapon and cut off this monk's hands and feet? Also cut off his ears and nose? Pluck out his eyes with tongs? The Joyful One did everything accordingly. Then, after that monk's head, ears, hands, and feet were cut off, countless billions of rays of light also appeared. Milk also flowed, etc. Because this is a body accomplished by the accumulation of merit and wisdom practiced for countless eons, from the place where it was cut and severed, in order to subdue sentient beings, signs such as wheels appeared, and milk flowed. Therefore, how can such a great Bodhisattva die from being harmed by others? This is to fully show that others cannot cut him, and that he will work for the benefit of sentient beings without regard for body and life. And, in order to take care of the sentient beings who are subdued in that way, showing a death that surpasses the good deeds of others is not contradictory. Similarly, it should be said in the same way for Nirvana, etc. Then, that great crowd of people saw that monk being cut and severed on the road, and they were distressed and unhappy. Feeling astonished, they cried and wailed, uttered lamentations, and then returned to the King's Jewel Palace. Then, King Great Courage spent seven days in the best garden, unhappy, not intimate, and not enjoying himself at all. After seven days, he returned from the garden and entered the King's Jewel Palace. He saw that the monk whom he had abandoned on the King's road had been dead for seven days, but the color of his body had not changed and was very pleasing, so he thought: This monk is undoubtedly irreversible from unexcelled, perfect enlightenment.

At that time, he lamented and said these words: "The king's power and the king's palace, precious jewels, pearls, gold, and earth are abandoned. Horses and elephants, chariots and jewels, grains and storehouses, treasuries are abandoned. I would rather cut myself into pieces and die." Saying this, he clearly recounted the history of the times that emerged from the city, and that the monk Flower Moon Beauty appeared here, and so on. When the body, adorned with the thirty-two marks, was sure to be seen by all beings, like the spotless orb of the autumn moon, perfectly complete and beautiful, he departed. "I was disturbed by the evil enjoyment of desire." This means that the mire of desire is the cause of the suffering of samsara, so it is evil. Disturbed means stained by the mire of desire. Surrounded by a multitude of women, when he decided to leave, riding on the best chariot, surrounded by royalty, as he walked, this was the monk Fragrant Excellent Eyes. Fragrant Excellent Eyes means eyes like the eyes of a cowherd. Having seen the monk who came here, "May all the women be extremely delighted." This means that upon seeing the monk, all the women were extremely delighted. A feeling of devotion arose, and golden garlands were scattered. This means that the golden garlands were taken off the head, held with both hands, and the palms of the ten fingers were joined.
